I am a UPS driver and let me tell you I have torn up some boots in my career. But these ones are by far superior to everything else out there. Longest lasting most comfortable boot. They're lightweight and require no break in period. I will buy no other boots as long as Merrell never stops making them.

I've always been leary of ordering boots online. I'm old school, I prefer to see them in person. Check them out. Try them on. Footwear is important in my occupation. Couldn't find anything locally so I took a chance and ordered a pair of black Merrell Strongfield Boots. Turned out to be a great decision, and the best boots I've ever owned. Liked them so much I ordered a second pair just in case this model gets discontinued for some reason. Great job Merrell!

Fit was perfect and the quality seems on par with what I expect from Merrell. I have been wearing these boots on duty 12 hours a day for the past 6 or so months and have no complaint at all. My feet stay dry and comfortable all day.

Thought I would give a pair of Strongfield Tactical boots a whirl since my MOAB's were coming to the end of their life after 2 years. I am on my feet at work for most of my day and after 30 years in Law Enforcement I need a sturdy but, comfortable boot. These are just what I was looking for! First impression was that they look and feel very well made. Tried them on and they fit true to size. I have only had them for about two days and am very pleased at the fit and comfort. To me they seem a bit heavier when compared to my MOAB's but, when worn if there is a weight difference you cannot tell. To be honest they feel more like a sneaker than a pair of work boots. I thought I could not find a better boot than the MOAB but, I believe I have with this boot. Time will tell if I get two years out of them like I did my MOAB's but, my first impressions are favorable!

It's very comfortable and safe and the size quality is very good.

These boots are exactly what I expected from Merrell especially after I bought their CHAM 8 shoe. Comfortable out of the box, and even better after wearing a few times. Size was true with no hotspots.

I work in the woods. These boots are comfortable and water resistant. The extra rubber around the toe is good for kicking around in brush.

Very comfortable but a little heavy. Returned them and regret it. Not sure why these were discontinued. Bring them back! Friend of mine got them for patrol use and a few months in and he loves them.

Was looking for a lightweight boot for bird hunting and thought id give these a try on our annual trip to the northern LP. Comfortable and performed well enough in wet conditions. Leave for Iowa in 2 weeks, so that will be a better test. Gave 5 stars since that's how they performed while afield (lost 2 days to tain).

Great work shoes. I am a Home Inspector and I love them, doesn't matter if it rains or you are in Miami heat, great pair of shoes. Thank you Merrell. Wish I can get them in brown and black.

This is my 6th time ordering the 6" Strongfield. NEVER disappointed.

Awesome duty boot. Comfortable to wear straight out of the box. I only wish there was a non-waterproof option.

Very nice shoe. Got these for an Alaskan cruise. Very sturdy and nice grip on wet surfaces.

These are perfect for the range, training and ohv patrol. Love how stiff/durable the outer toe is.

I work in the concert industry. I work music festivals. These are by far the most comfortable, durable and practical shoes I have bought and used in the last seven years. I have been testing work boots for the last four and these take the cake. Feels like I am wearing almost nothing. I think I may have found my feet a pal(s).thanks.

This boot is for daily wear, standing 5-6hrs per day. No break in period for me and reasonably priced to replace them when work takes it's toll.

Best boots on the market! As a UPS driver I put a lot of miles on these. Lightweight and require almost zero break in period. If Merrell continues to make and improve these boots I'll be a lifelong customer. Only negative I would say is they are water resistant and not waterproof. For someone who spends 10 hour work days outside, not many boots I've ever owned stand up to that all day rain. Good enough for light to medium rain and water exposure. They dry out quickly if they do get wet.

I currently work in EMS. These are by far, the most durable, comfortable boots I have ever worn. Fantastic quality for the price point.

I work in law enforcement and love these boots. They are durable and comfortable even after a 12 hour shift.

Bought this boot beginning of winter around October for warehouse use at work and it's held up great no problems with it. And actually extremely comfortable I've been dealing with a nerve problem in my left foot and this boot gives me relief and feels closer to a running shoe with no break in period. Cant recommend it enough. And yes it's indeed waterproof!

This is the Awesome Boots. I bought this Boot last month January after buying this boot I realized that with the Price and comfort this is recommendable boots which generally not available all the time. Since last month now my whole family has Merrell shoes, and every body is happy with their style I also would like to thank Customer support who are very helpful with return or exchange Thanks to Merrell.

The best pair of boots I own!! Stylish, Well built, comfortable. I'd purchase again without a doubt. I'm an airline mechanic, and I believe in good, comfortable footwear. 95% of my work shoes are Merrell.

Best work boot on the market. I wear them everyday on my 12 hour shifts. Thread is not even halfway done after over a year of wearing them. Comfortable, durable, breathable. #1 work boot on the market.

Great looking boot, a little harder to breakin then the Moab. Keeps your feet warm and dry.
