Good water proofing, comfortable to wear and it keeps the rainnout

This is my second pair of Merrell work boots. I use them daily. I work on the railroad which usually destroys boots. My last pair lasted me 2 years which is about a year and a half longer than other brands. They are extra comfortable and durable. I also like that the newest version has a rubber enclosed front of the boot. Hopefully this pair lasts me two years as well. Only thing I wish is that they got a little better airflow.

Bought these right before deployment and they are the best boots I've ever purchased! No break in time I ruck in them regularly and have completed a Norwegian Foot March in them with no issues whatsoever! Would highly recommend!

The Strongfield 6" is very comfortable right out of the box. Very supportive with rubber exo-skeleton but, with super flexible suede & nylon for zero comfort issues. The toe is plenty wide. These need much more comfy than the Moab tactical & a bit taller for support and I like so you can hide socks that aren't black. I wear these for tactical work and they are Fantastic boots!

Comfortable and light weight. The ONLY brand of boots I will buy from here on out.

I used it in boston walking around historical sites and it was raining most of the time i was there and it work perfectly .no blisters and love it.

Excellent fit with little to no breaking in period. I've taken them on two 10 day elk hunts and a deer hunt and I love them.

Comfortable from day 1. Good for full shift duty on your feet in hot weather

Fit true to size. Very comfortable for a heavy boot, I can wear them all day with no problems.

I like this shoe alot I went a half size smaller and it fits like a tennis shoe, the stich work is solid the grommets are strong, the shoe don't make any squeak sounds, good traction, good buy

Great fit! Sturdy sole and aggressive tread make for a mean climber. Cushioned inner sole make me feel like I've tied pillows to my feet. Not too hot for Cali weather either.

Very good looking well constructed boot. Very comfortable. I'm on my feet most of the day and have no complaints so far. My department will supply boots but I stick with Merrill because they last a whole lot longer.

I purchased these to use as work boots and they are fantastic! They are a good, solid-feeling boot with plenty of support. I would buy these again.

Beat boots ive ever owned. Comfortable waterproof wirh tatical look but looking sharp casual enough to wear with jeans or joggers .

Extremely comfortable boot for either recreation or duty use. I wear a 12.5 in most shoe brands which was not available. 13 was too large and 12 fit just right.

I love these boots. This is my 4th pair of Merrell boots. I am extremely hard on my work shoes. I work in the mechanical field climbing, crawling, kneeling on my knees with the tips of my shoes pressed into the roof or concrete. I can go through a set of boots and as little as 6 months. I get more then 1 year out of these boots and that says a lot. Well at least for my wallet. As for waterproof actually not too bad. I wouldn't say waterproof I would say water resistant. In either case with the mesh outer lining your feet dry fairly quickly and stay cool all day long.

I sent the boots back for a refund and you sent me another pair of the same boots. They are not comfortable for me. I would like a refund for now as I have again sent them back to you. I need time to figure out what will work for meand then I will order something. Thank you

Probably best boots I've ever had!.

I've worn this boot for a little while now in a special operations setting and it has met and exceeded my expectations. Comfortable, light weight, and durable. My only wish is that I could buy a second pair in black so that I could wear a pair of these full time. Merrell, if you're watching, please make these in black!

I've only had them for 30 days but they seem to be holding together pretty well. They feel very similar to my Salomon 4D Forces but cost half the price, so that to me is a win.

overall their a great pair of boots. minor rubbing in one or two areas that went away after wearing them. the waterproofness of the boots works very well and so far i have not had much in the way of fatigue from them.(i wear them everyday for work).

I've had them for about three weeks and my first pair of Merrell /shoe/boots. Impressed with the sizing and comfort immeadiately when first trying them on. Well made and am happy with my purchase.

So far so good. Boots fit true to size and have been great for the time I have had them. I have gone through a couple pair of Moab's and these are a little heavier than those and require more break in time. Otherwise it's been a great boot so far.

Solid boots. Lightweight. Nice for SWAT operations
