I ordered this for my daughter starting high school. It is a very nice looking book bag and made very well. It seems very comfortable when worn. The only thing that I would say negative about the book bag is that it doesn't hold as many items as book bags that we have had in the past but she doesn't seem to mind.

I bought this backpack to use for travel and nursing school. So far I really like the backpack it's beautiful and I love the rose gold details. It's quite comfortable although quite heavy with all of the padding. I just wish the small front pocket went down and little deeper, and that the big back pocket could open wider. It's a little difficult to get items further down because the opening it quite small. I do like the elastics at the front for holding extra jackets or sweaters. I was really hoping the purchase the previous Jester style, but I believe they don't have it anymore so this is a good alternative.

I bought this bag for my daughter that is starting high say. This bag is not big enough for her books. She could only put 2 binders and 2 books total. It was very nice but not for what she needed it for.

Bought this for my daughter to use at school. Looks good and is well made. But it seems narrow and could be a little bigger. With being forced to carry multiple books, a chromebook, and not having access to the use of lockers, she needed more space.

I bought this backpack for college and it's wonderful! It being waterproof is great since I go to school in Boston. While the backpack is very deep, it doesn't have a lot of room to stretch. Overall great

The straps are ok, the padding is not as soft as i though they would be. So far I like this backpack.

I love North Face backpacks, but I think it was a little smaller than I expected. However, you cannot beat the durability and material....it will last forever (as my last one did!- I just wanted to update!!)

4 out of 5 stars because it only has one main compartment, ideally would like a separate zippered compartment for laptop and also an extra front pocket below the existing one. Other than that, 27 Liters holds a good amount and stretches to accommodate a weekend's getaway worth of things

Fits my 17" laptop! ...barely fits though, keep that in mind. Purchased this to be my laptop/personal item on flights (over the shoulder laptop bag caused back pain). Very stylish, plus it fits my Nalgene in the sides, and I love that I can stuff a sweatshirt in the outside bungees while traveling.

I have an older Recon backpack I've had for years, but I wanted a slightly smaller one to use for work. This pack fits my laptop and other peripherals nicely and feels comfortable on my back. As other reviewers have mentioned, I do wish the front compartment is extended all the way down instead of being just the top half of the bag. It is a little top heavy because of it. I can't comment on durability, but I do hope this pack will give me years use.

It's a really durable backpack, although I just ordered my second one after having the first for 4 years and am really frustrated they don't have the outside pocket go all the way down anymore. I don't know why they would change it.

I used this backpack when we went to a theme park and it was great for storing water bottles and a change of clothes for my youngest.

I love everything about this backpack except the front pocket is not deep enough. I would like to see a zipper at the bottom of the pocket to expand the depth.

I really like the look and how minimal it is. However it is a bit narrow and small. Great for commute but may be too small if you carry a lot

The color is gorgeous and it's definitely not too expensive. My biggest love about it is how nice it feels on your shoulders. The backside is comfy and it's very compact and durable. After this, there's no going back to a Jansport backpack. However, it is too small, and the main pocket is not very functionable. I'd rather have multiple pockets instead of one huge one with a small one for other stuff. Overall, good product and I'd recommend!

It is not a 5 star because my huge laptop unfortunately did not fit but I really love NorthFace backpacks, they are extremely durable my last one lasted me 4 years and this one looks the same quality as the last. My older one was still functional but I gave it to my brother for his school use. Overall super cute, lightweight and reliable.
