This bag looks great and I think it's well designed (like the open front pocket) but please note that it's too small to fit my 15x10 inch dell laptop. When my laptop is fully in the (very, very tight) slot it sticks up too high for the zipper to close.

I used this backpack for 4 years through my time at college. I had a 20 minute walk to class every day and my back never hurt from this bag. I also used it at an active kids camp through three summers and it's held up in perfect condition. This backpack also works as your personal item when flying and is my go to, to carry snacks and all other plane essentials. Would highly recommend this back pack. Well worth the price (although I do believe I purchased it during a back to school sale!).

I am not sure how I'm feeling with the new North Face Pivoter backpack, I've had the two previous versions and this one seems off. The pro's on the bag are that feels more lightweight and not heavy on the material. The padding on the back is done well, zipper pulls I like the look. Side pockets are good for a large water bottle or a thermos for coffee. Also, the bag can stand on its own without falling down. The con's with pivoter bag, definitely not liking the shorter straps including the material used for under the straps, also the sternum strap has no whistle on the buckle and the sternum strap is not removable. I don't know why the bag needs two top handles, one top handle is good. The exterior of the bag is one big open pocket, that you can put a jacket in or small items but not a good idea to put a wallet in. I'm still giving the five stars because I'd the fast shipping, time will tell if the North Face Pivoter will work for me.

I bought this backpack for my husband who takes it to work every day! He loves it, gets to pack his laptop, books and even lunch in it. Black color still looks like new and most importantly it is very comfortable when walking and traveling on public transportation. He used to complain of back problems, not anymore!!

I love this bag. It provided the space I needed while traveling. It is such a great bag I purchased one for a friend as a gift. Not to mention how stylish it looked with my The Northface hooded jacket. Nothing bad at all as I love this brand

Great! Has so many pockets and it works great for carrying books and computers. Also has a great pocket in the front to fit reading book! Would definitely recommend to everyone:)

I use this product for work and I absolutely love it! It's light weight and holds everything I need it to... it is somewhat smaller then most backpacks but it makes it so I don't bring a bunch of useless stuff to work!! Works perfectly!

I'm petite and a woman, and I'm able to adjust it to fit so that it doesn't put undue stress on my body or limit my movement.

I use the laptop pocket to put all my work documents. The rest of the space is for my change of shoes and lunch/snack. I love the large outside pocket. Perfect for my coffee mug and gloves. Perfect size for the petite and doesn't sag. I ride a bike to and from work w this backpack on.

I love the color and size of the backpack and has just the right amount of pockets for me. It's a nice slim design and can fit a lot without looking bulky. I just wish the mesh side pockets would have held up a little longer. There's a slight tear on each side from placing my Nalgene water bottles in it, but it's still functioning.
