I use this for work as well as weekend getaways.

Absolutely love the backpack. Sleek and slim appearance but actually very roomy - I can fit my Nalgene, laptop, books, and lunch in the bag. The organizational pouches are well-designed too. And the bag is so comfortable! As someone with some back trouble, I would looking for a bag that wouldn't pull at my shoulders or hurt my lower back - this bag is it! My only complaint is the water bottle pouches on the side are a little narrow, and I have to put my Nalgene bottle in the bag itself. But other than that, I love it!

I am so pleased that North Face offers a cushioned laptop sleeve in a smaller backpack. I recently purchased this as a replacement for a stolen Surge II (which is a much bigger backpack). The downgrade was not a downgrade in all-- this backpack is the perfect size. The large compartment is huge, and there is no need for anything more. It's simple, and effective. The women's fit feels so comfortable on my back, as well. I wore it for a 6 hour walk last week, and the weight was distributed extremely evenly. I am a North Face girl through and through and I fully intend on using this backpack until I die. I'm confident it will last longer than me! They are made SO well.

I like the gray interior lining, so I can easily see the items inside. Love the pockets.

I use this for my everyday adventures when I walk to work, to the grocery, to the beach (I'm lucky enough to live just 15 minute walk away). It makes me feel like I'm on a trip even though I'm currently doing the M-F 9-5 thing. It helps me remember before anything else, I'm an adventurer.

I see this bag for travel. Roomy and comfortable to carry on my back. I live the basic design.

This is the perfect backpack for our student! It has everything you could think of for her college experience. She loves the look and design since it was bought for function not style (it came with both). She loaded it up and was comfortable.

Literally the best back pack ever I have the 2015 model of this bag and it has been amazing. I have used it for four years though college and I can fit text books and my laptop and even workout clothes in the big middle pocket. I have also used this on all my travel from Europe to California to Hawaii and it's been amazing. Love this bag.

I love this backpack. It's big enough travel with and not too bulky.

I use this everyday for work to carry all my stuff. Everything I need fits perfect and is very comfortable to wear.
