i love the color, needed it for a trip abroad and it fits all the things i needed to carry for the trip. would have loved for more packets but i chose this one for it's bigger main pockets that can fit more then stuffing everything in a bunch of smaller pockets.

Love this backpack. It is lightweight and will be using it to travel.

I consolidated my computer bag + shoulder bag + half of my gym bag into this one backpack. The weight that used to pull on my shoulders now feels nonexistent, even when I pack it full with heavy items like glass lunch containers. I am 5'9" with average torso length and the size is perfect. Chest strap is nice to have. The side pockets are great for umbrella and a rather tall water bottle. Lots of organization options in the front pockets for items that you prefer be less, er, visible. I will be traveling with this beauty next week for work, and very much look forward to it. I can't speak for ventilation as I bought it after the weather cooled down. The only downside is when I stash my wallet (containing security badge) inside, there's no convenient way to reach it other than taking my backpack completely off. But that's backpacks for ya. Overall assessment: buy it. Your chiropractor will thank you.

Got this backpack for college and it's great. Having to walk to all my classes is tiring but the backpack is comfortable enough to make it okay. Love the print and all the pockets.

I carry a lot with me to work every day - breakfast, lunch, gym clothes, office shoes, laptop... With all this, my messenger cute bag was bulging and causing pains in my shoulder every day to and from the office. This backpack easily handles everything that I need for the day without looking like I'm going on an expedition (although I'm sure it would be fantastic for that too, I just haven't had the chance to test it out on the trail yet). It's comfortable, light-weight, and seems very durable.

As someone who commutes to work everyday, and travels frequently, this bag could not be better! I take it with me everywhere! It holds everything that I need, and more. It is the perfect bag for commuting, to carry my laptop, work shoes, and anything else that I might need for work. It is also the perfect size bag to use as your "personal item" to carry onto a plane. There is so much room to fit anything extra that you might not have been able to fit into a suitcase, and it even works great as an overnight bag. The straps also provide great comfort, and support for your back. I would definitely recommend this bag for anyone who commutes to work by walking, frequent travelers, or even the everyday student!

I just got this backpack and have been really pleased. I wanted something that would be comfortable on my petite frame and could be used for commuting to work and carrying a laptop. My 13 inch macbook fits in the sleeve (in its case) and I'm able to fit notebooks, folder, a book, extra shoes, and my laptop charger easily. I like the outer pockets and the water bottle holders. It is also not overwhelming large when I don't need to carry my laptop, which was a downside to some other bags that I looked at. I like the gray color as well. The only thing I wish was different was that on other models I looked at, some of the smaller pockets were fleece lined. That would be a nice addition to this bag. I've yet to travel with it yet, but I think it will work well as a personal item to carry my laptop and other items on an airplane.

I love how organized the bag is! It doesn't have too many pockets that's it's overwhelming!

I use this product to carry my computer and books. The design is comfortable and lightweight, which I appreciate because of my commute. I bought my last NorthFace backpack in 1992. I used it until about a year ago. That said, these backpacks last a lifetime. I recommend this product to everyone I know who needs a durable, stylish, and snug backpack.

I've never been disappointed with any north face product. This backpack was a great price and lives up to the same consistent quality. I highly recommend it for any general use.

My 10th grade granddaughter chose the Pivoter backpack (Gull blue/Bluewing teal) for school. The backpack arrived promptly but when I saw the small, lightweight package, I thought she had made a terrible mistake. I was sure it would not be big enough for all her books and notebooks or sturdy enough to withstand the rigors of the school year. How wrong I was! The backpack has ample room and several zippered compartments for organization. It is well-made out and, of course, is backed by North Face's life-time warranty. I was amazed when she showed it to me fully loaded. All of her "stuff" was so organized, the backpack held it's shape beautifully and still looked stylish, and she reported that it was very comfortable. Being lightweight is such an added plus because all of her books weigh a ton! The color is nice, too, and perfectly matches the Vera Bradley lunch cooler (Water Geo pattern) that she chose. She loves her new backpack, and she is so happy with her choice.

I use this backpack to take to school and, overall, it's pretty great at doing its job. There's a slot to put your laptop in and room to put textbooks, binders, etc. However, a few more pockets would really be useful, but there's some already there that are already. Lastly, it's durabilty is going pretty strong for now. I think it will last. Anyway, it's a good backpack!
