Decent bag perfect for what I need it for.

I purchased this bag for my son's upcoming start to his middle school stint. He had been using my previous Northface bag for the last two years (after I used it for about 2 as well) and tbh it held up fine and could have been used (and likely lasted) for middle school. But I wanted him to start with his new school with fresh and so clean clean TNF bag. Ya know impressions especially starting at this age. So time will tell but I have every reason atm to believe it will perform and hold up, and maybe be used for high school!

Love the backpack I purchased for my 11yr old grandson's book bag! Perfect size and he loves it. My college granddaughter said "Buy him a Northface, and you won't have to keep buying him a new one every year! They last and last!"

It's a great compact back pack for commutes and trip around the city. I bought this to use for family trips in and around Bangkok. I also used it as my personal item for the plane ride from the USA to Thailand. I held my 13" MacBook Air, my sons 16" laptop, an accordion style document holder with 36 dividers 4" thick, an iPhone 11 pro, Beats Studio 3 in a case, charging blocks and cords, a spiral notebook, two wireless mice, pens, pencils, facial tissue, hand sanitizer and maybe a few more odds and ends The shoulder straps are as tight or loose as you prefer. There is a chest strap too. I had no issue with back sweat. It's durable materials and quality construction will last for many years. I'm 6'4" and 215 pounds. The back pack wasn't too small for me which was a concern when I bought it.

I bought this pack for my version of a diaper bag; something that I could hold a few changes of clothes, diapers, wipes, etc for our daughter whenever I wasn't with my wife. The size of the compartments are perfect to hold enough for a day hike or a weekend getaway. I especially will love the laptop compartment for when I begin to return to working in our office. Overall I am very please and would certainly recommend.

JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. I NEEDED A BACKPACK THAT I COULD USE FOR WORK THAT WASN'T TOO BIG AND HAD ENOUGH POCKETS FOR MY STUFF AND THIS FITS THE BILL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FOR ANYONE LOOKING FOR THIS TYPE OF BAG. IT HAS A COMPARTMENT FOR A LAPTOP SMALLER THAN 15. 4"

It's ok. The second pocket isn't very big.

Comfortable to wear. Just enough space for any daily activities, hiking, and carry on bag for flying.

Purchased this product for traveling and it did not disappoint. It has held up well and really versatile. I look forward to using it for school in the fall and taking it hiking. I was able to fit my laptop plus a whole lot more. Comfortable to carry and lots of pockets to secure items.

Very comfortable and compact. Don't know why they made the second pocket so small. Used to be as deep as the first pocket.

This backpack is very versatile. I have used it to travel, hike, for school and day trips. This backpack is super durable and my first one lasted me years!

I'm very happy with my purchase of this backpack. It is made very well, and it is very spacious on the inside. I love the shape of the pack, because it allows plenty of space for what you would need for a day trip.

Very durable and sturdy. My last back pack was from 2003 in high school which my husband now turned into his everyday work back pack. He needed a new one. I'm very hopeful that this will live up to its legacy

For years I've had a North Face bag that I used as a combination travel pack, kid sports game pack, and work bag. It was white. It is no longer anything close to white. So I decided to get a new bag and landed on the Jester. It's a great combination of function and style, with enough storage to conceivably make a day trip for work but not so much that you show up to meetings looking like you're about to go camping in Yosemite. It's comfortable and has the right amount of pockets and compartments without being obnoxious. If there's a knock on it, it's that when the smaller compartment is filled with things, the bag can sag due to the lopsided weight. But that's pretty much standard for a bag like this I think.
