I purchased 3 of these backpacks for my children. After hours of looking the Jester was the only one that checked all of the boxes. Place for laptop, typical school stuff, books, water bottle - it all fits and stays organized with ease. Plus, these feel like lifetime packs, the sturdy construction and material exceeded my expectations based on the price of the pack. North Face could easily charge double and I'm so happy they don't!

The bag is ok but the side pouches are a little oversized and only stretches a little. I haven't tested it yet if a regular water bottle will stay on there ok

Perfect for back to school. Roomy for my son's school gear (jacket, water bottle, books).

I travel (via flights) and hike often. This bag is the perfect size with more than enough pockets and compartments to cover all needs

Backpack looks great. However, it was way too small for my high school son. Front pocket is very small. Second pocket is decent size. He can't carry it for 10th grade because there isn't enough room for his books and things for school.

I'm using this product as my backpack for school. The reason I got it is because they're comfortable, I also love the color

My daughter absolutely loves this backpack: the fit, the feel, the quality, the size. Loves that it doesn't have half a dozen straps hanging down from it Should last throughout her junior high years.

Too small for my high school daughter. Will not fit all of her required notebooks/folder

Looks and feels cheap. Different than pic on the website. Feels like 18L, no way is it 27L. Paper thin. Doesn't stand up. Discolored buckle. Returning :(

My husband loved it so much, it's really good for military personnel and fits for travel occasions too. He's also 6 feet tall so this backpack was just the right size since I was worried that it may be too short for him.

This was bought for my first-grader. It's nice because the school requests a full-sized backpack (which this is), but this pack isn't huge on him, has plenty of great compartments and grab handles, is light, can stand, isn't overly fussy/specific in compartment/feature design (because I know stuff is probably not going to be used the way it was designed to be used), and looks like it can take some abuse. First day is tomorrow, so we'll see how the weather resistance, et al performs over the coming weeks. Hoping the extra cost of buying a pack for a school career (rather than the school year) will pay off!

Overall, this is a well-made, practical backpack. The purple color is rich. The side pockets are generous for larger water bottles. The back and shoulder cushions are great. I took off one star because I am disappointed in how much can fit in the main pocket. We bought this for our middle schooler, and it is stuffed with having only a zipped binder and 5 college rules, 70 page spirals. I have my doubts whether it will hold the binder and textbooks. This would've been great for elementarynot sure if it will do the trick for middle school. Please offer videos that show how much will fit into each backpack, using actual binders, school books, etc.

This medium sized backpack is great to use on hikes, bike rides and many more activities. The fabrics that are used are quality and the straps and back cushions are well made and comfortable when used hours on end.
