I love these shoes, the sole is very comfortable and supportive and the upper is well constructed with the leather braced area providing rigidity to the shoe. My only gripe is that the leather on the outside near the ankle can cause some discomfort while initially breaking them in, it can push up into your ankle bone and rub slightly, not a big problem for casual wear, but can create an issue on longer hikes.

Great shoe, looks cool and works great. Wear high socks while you break it in or you'll get a blister above your heel. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for that. I got a 9 and this fits closer to 9.5. Just runs a little large but not too big that you'll notice much of a difference. Plus you can wear thicker socks and it won't feel too tight.

Love these shoes for casual hiking. The tight ankle fit is awesome for keeping debris out of shoe and adds comfort as long as your socks are long enough to prevent rubbing. Front toe could use some durability improvements to prevent wearing from stubbing that area on rocks and logs over time.

These shoes are killer. They are a little bit stiff at first, like all shoes, but once they are broken in after walking in them for a bit they are so, so comfy. I've gone on multiple strenuous hikes so far in them and I am impressed at how comfy they are but also how well they protect my feet. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is that after my 4th hike in them part of the material near the toe is starting to fray. Still love them though!

Good materials and functionality. I wish the toe box had more room and a tad wider. I went up 1/2 size to account for this. A sharp looking pair of kicks!

These are the first and certainly not the last pair of Columbia sneaker I buy. I bought these sneakers for work and so far they have been outstanding. They were a bit stiff at first but after breaking them in they became much more comfy. They are 100% water proof and mighty durable. I was also drawn to the sleek design. These shoes strike a perfect balance between practicality and style. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality of the shoe.

Just moved to the PNW and bike everywhere--needed a waterproof shoe. They're doing OK for now, but I'll need to see how they hold up in the long run. I had a pair of Columbia boots that lasted almost ten years, but also a pair of "waterproof" Fairbanks that developed giant holes in the upper after less than 12 months.

These are great looking and very comfortable. Only issue is that they run a bit small, so order half size larger.

I got this shoe, because I wanted a stylish boot for city wear, when it rains, but also hiking. I haven't taken it out hiking yet, but it is very stylish. I have gotten many compliments with people not knowing its a Columbia shoe. Very true to size. I do wear a 10 with Nike (which runs small) but a 9.5 with Columbia that is the size of most of my other shoes. Great material, I can't wait to take it to the mountains.

These shoes meet at the intersection of style and functionality without sacrificing one for the other. I just wish they would include a wider width option. I wear a normal size 14 in every shoe I own, so that's what I ordered in these. I wore them for a few days and noticed my feet hurting more than usual when breaking in shoes. I had high hopes that they would break in and be more comfortable, but my feet couldn't handle it :( I even returned them and tried the size 15, but the same narrow width hurt my feet. I really wish I could keep wearing them, but I can't, at least not until they release a wider width option!

This boot is all it claims to be! Warm, dry and super comfy! No hard inside like many other hiking boots. Highly recommend!

When I first viewed this product for women, I didn't like the colors like I do for the men. I ordered a size 8 in the men's and a size 10 in the women's. Overall, I kept the size 8 because they were comfortable once I've broken into them and more snug on my foot (the women's were too loose).

Finished a 16 mile hike in these going through dirt, mud, sand, and water streams. The shoes held up well and were comfortable. They proved to be waterproof and had good traction, but I did not hike anything steep.
The one area of the shoe I was a little disappointed with was the looks. I was expecting the proportions to be like a running shoe (think Adidas Ultraboost). They have a narrow ankle section, but the rest of the shoe is slightly bulky like a 90's skate shoe. I guess the ruggedness and waterproofing needed more material/structure. Because of this I don't think I would wear these shoes casually.

I have never owned a shoe like that and I'm very happy that I decided to give them a try. I use them for hiking and casual use, and they look great for both occasions. They're comfortable and don't hurt my feet. Good shoe!

I was extremely impressed how comfortable these shoes were....there was no break in period at all which is also a huge plus. As a previous reviewer pointed out the shoe opening can rub a bit but i didnt find it to be terrible just a minor issue (there are other shoe brands with the same shoe opening so its becoming pretty common). As for the looks, i purchased the black/brown color combo, and can say they have a pretty decent look to them. Not a shoe i would wear for a night on the town or for more dressed up occasions (dont look that good with jeans) but if you are planning on being on your feet all day hiking or maybe to a theme park, I would absolutely recommend them.

The building quality is not bad and it is good looking. However, it is extremely tight and unconformable to wear. I tried them on for 3 minutes and my feet started to be numb... I have to return.

After being optimistic after reading other review I figured I would buy these for occasional hiking and recreational use. First off, these shoes are comfortable. After a few times wearing them they start to "squeak". Sounds like a plastic bottle every step you make. The material is rigged and does repel water. The soles has decent grip but start to peel off the bottom of the shoe after time. Mind you I have owned these shoes since end of March of 2021 and it is now July 1st. For the price, I would keep my options open. Okay shoe.

I'm a UPS driver and was looking for a comfortable, durable, waterproof work shoe. I love everything about these shoes EXCEPT for the fact that after only about 4-5 times wearing them in the rain my feet were soaked. Even after I pre treated them with a waterproofing spray. Pretty disappointing.
I would probably buy these again strictly because of the style and comfort. But do not buy these with the expectation that your feet will be dry.

At first, I really loved these they look great and are very comfortable. I walk a lot for work and noticed it did not take long to wear through the sole of the shoe and ive seen this same trend on a lot of their boots as well which i find odd. If the sole was 2x thicker they would be perfect

comfortable and stylish but the netted top easy rips when hiking on rocky trails. Wore them for 1 week while doing some hikes and some of the top threads have come off because of contact with rocks.

Only had them for a month I love them due to comfort and dry feet. But the midsole is already starting to separate from the upper portion of the sneaker. I am meaning to call Columbia to get this resolved. If they stand by their product I would 100% recommend. Great shoe besides the less than a month of wear, midsole separation.

Excellent quality but sizing is way off, smaller then marked by 2 sizes. Ihad to return them because i coukdnt fit into them with a shoehorn and still i had bought them a size larger than i normally wear. BUT, excellent quality! I live by Columbia footwear.
