I have other Sofft boots which I love, and bought these as I needed a black. They are very comfortable, but slightly narrower than usual. I usually pair a sock with my boots if not wearing tights, and it feels a little tight with the sock, but fine with the tights. I always wear a 6.5 medium boot.

These are gorgeous boots! Perfect fit and gorgeous leather. I'm returning them only because I liked Sofft's Samantha style better (plain, no laces) and don't feel like I need two pairs of black tall boots.

I have not gotten knee high boots for awhile, and there were several brands that I was looking at. Super glad that I got these! They are comfortable, right out of the box. I did order a size 7, when I get 6.5 for other shoes. The foot area is a little roomy, which is what I wanted, especially if I want to wear thick socks. The lace up back is great, and I love the fact that they are waterproof. Comfy, stylish, happy?

I have trouble finding boots that aren't too tall and fit my smaller legs - these boots fit the bill perfectly on both counts and are stylish as well! I liked them so much I ordered another pair, this time in leather instead of the suede for variety.

So beautiful. Buttery soft. Comfy. Flexible in sole and instep. Adjustable laces. Great, grippy sole. So happy I may order a second pair of the nubuck gray ones. The slightly abraded tip and heel are barely noticeable. Yes, I agree, not really necessary, neither adds any flare, but neither does it bother me. Yes, the toe box is snug-ish. That being said, I never wear any shoes that constrict my toes, so my toes naturally spread out. I do wish it was a teensy bit more roomy, but it's totally livable. Overall, one of the nicest, most comfy dressier casual boots I've ever owned.

These boots are very customizable. I have muscular calves so I can loosen the laces in the calf area and it works! They are soft and oh so comfy.

I LOVE these boots!!! I can see if you have larger calves that these would be too tight for you. Luckily...I got them zipped up and they are sooo cute!! I love the extra padding at the ball of the foot. Very comfortable ??

Ordered in both gray and whiskey color. Love these boots. Had almost given up on finding winter boots. I'm finally replacing a pair of whisky-colored, tall Italian leather boots that have been my fav's for decades, so keeping the whiskey colored pair. They are extremely comfortable, beautifully designed and water-proof to boot! Definite keepers. Also, love them in the grey suede, but will only keep one pair. I usually wear 9.5-10 and kept the 10 in these. My other tall boots are black Frye Dorado's and black & burgundy Dubarry's. Love the riding boot look. My calves are pretty slender, but (while they side-zip) the back has lacing to make them somewhat adjustable for perhaps a wider leg. I would recommend these to others. Everything by this brand highly styled and comfortable.

Love these boots! I am on my feet most of the day and they are still comfortable by the end of it. Leather is beautiful and soft. Will be buying more colors!

These boots are amazing. I love this brand it does not disappoint. This is my third pair of Sofft boots and I live them all.

These run slightly long but not so much so that it's a deal breaker. I'm pretty much a dead-on size 10 and ordered a 10. The whiskey color is more of a rich deep brown in person and not quite so reddish as pictured which I was happy about. Really nice leather and love the style!

These boots were made for me! They molded perfectly to my feet, legs, and arch support. I love them.

These are extremely comfortable! I wore them all day straight out of the box! No need for break in and just as comfy as my sneakers. I wear a size 38 in euro shoes and the 7.5 fit perfectly. I’m 5’5” and the height was perfect. I have average width calves and they were fine with skinny jeans.

Calf is perfect finally narrow enough for my skinny legs. But the taper in the foot is pretty rough. And i had to upsize to make sure my toe can move tomorrow.

I’m 5”5, 127 lbs, narrow feet, calf circumference 12.8”, size 8.5 They fit well, true size (I wear 8.5 and ordered 8.5), roomy sole, and without tucking the jeans in the top of boots are just perfect, smooth leather, and I don’t think i need to break them in. Love them, gonna be one of my faves ?? And thanks to Zappos, the package was delivered on time. Trusted. Keep up the good work ??

I love these boots so much, I bought a 2nd pair in a different color. I work in retail and am on my feet for at least 10 hours a day. These boots are incredibly comfortable from morning until night. Highly recommended. Just as a side note: I am an 8.5 and my feet are on the narrow side.

This boot is great, I bought the dark brown and loved them so much that I bought the grey also. Finally a boot for thin calves.

These boots fit true to size, and are very comfortable!They are so cute, with the lacing,in the back, and can be adjusted, for a great customized fit! I have four pairs, love them!

These boots are amazing for us girls with muscular calves! I was able to adjust the laces to accommodate a 16.5” calf. I can no longer tie a bow but have made a knot on the inside top. I love the look. The footbed is very comfortable and the whiskey colored leather is beautiful. I am normally an 8.5 and this is what I purchased. Ample room for thicker socks!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these!!!! Soooo cute and comfortable. Well worth the price. Very well made. Not cheap in any way, material is real leather, soft and pliable but still firm enough not to slouch. My calves are very skinny and these fit perfectly! Bought the black cowhide, am ordering the dark brown suede next!

Super cute and really comfortable! I was surprised how good they felt as soon as I put them on. The suede seems a little rubbed off at the toe and heel, but I think that's the look.

These fit me really well and we’re so soft and comfortable. I have a narrower foot and relatively athletic calves, but they did not feel too snug. I loosened the strings on the back a bit and they feel perfect. They are also waterproof which is so awesome. Perfect to dress up or dress down. Highly recommend. I want another pair!

These are great fitting and very comfortable (I have a pair in Suede). But when taking them out of the box I noticed the leather is very easily marked. I went to loosen the back string, and there are marks everywhere my nail touched. Dangit...Back they go.
