I tried several other brands and even J&M styles but found the Holden Plain Toe to be the most comfortable and well made for this price point. They look great and am excited to work them into my wardrobe.

I have worn these shoes through entire days and have been on my feet most of the time. They are comfortable and reduce tiredness. I have used J&M shoes before, and I am happy their quality has been up to standard over the years.

Pro: Looks professional Comfortable Con: Runs on the Narrow side in comparison to other shoes. Easily scuffs/scratches... shows every mark and requires constant attention.

I was looking for a new pair of casual/ dressy black shoes that i could wear for cocktails or perhaps a trade show. Recently most comfy ones were white rubber sole shoes. I opted for this black sole pair and they are perfect! True to size and super comfortable. They are more than I expected A++!!

Love J & Mhad probably 15 pairalways have issues with first 5 hours.blister on high heelI where them for 5 hours, then let my blisters heal.then they are fine!!

Very nice shoes,fit well from the first time you put them on.Last pair was for my grandson who thought they were cool.

I have purchased and enjoyed more that 10 pairs of JM shoes. These are a let down. Appearance: good Toe box: comfortable Heal box: stiff and does not conform to feet. The material is stiff and my first attempt was to use my hands to soften this area of my shoes. Now, I've purchased aftermarket heel grabs to hopefully prevent future blisters.

These shoes fit perfect out of the box.

this shoe has an interesting finish that did not match a belt I have. easy fix to buy another belt and like that J&M offers easy color match for belt and shoe. great athletic feel all day shoe

Runs small, Im a true 10.5 M but had to get an 11 M. Shoe is kind of stiff and hoping they brake in. Not up to the standards of J&M in my opinion.

I would love to write a review on the shoes that I ordered, however once I placed the order and paid, I was notified I would not receive them until October. I did however receive the belt that I ordered within a few days. I would not have ordered the shoes if I was informed that it would take that long to receive them. I am a long time customer and have always been happy with both product and service. So this was disappointing and I will have reservations about ordering in the future.

I got the wrong size , said to order 1 size bigger. Not a good idea. I am going to return

Ran a little large for me, but great feel, comfort and look right out of the box.

Fit was great! Wore them for the first time last nite and the color goes well with any color! Im a long time time J&M customerwhen you are 78 years it important that it fits first time around!

I've had the previous version of this shoe for about 4 years (wearing it nearly every day). Couldn't have been happier. They keep making the shoe, I will buy it for the rest of my life. Unfortunately, they have changed the sole in a way that is no longer replaceable. Honestly, if the shoe doesn't last at least a year and a half, I'll look elsewhere (e.g. Thursday Boot Company). I'm a little disappointed, not going to lie, but it's overall a good shoe and J&M hasn't done me wrong to this point (all of my non-athletic shoes are from them).

They look great, don't scuff easily, I have had a pair for two years as part of my work uniform and wear them 4 days a week. Still look good, and feel like your wearing tennis shoes. Bought 2 more pair.
