I wear a size 7 M 99% of time. This shoe is so narrow that I couldn't get zipper zipped without significantly loosening the laces. So I ordered a 7.5 M and a 7 W to see if that would work. The 7.5 was too long. The 7 W was okay, but not great - it was too wide in the heel. All 3 sizes, however, were uncomfortable, with stiffness in strange places around the zipper, presumably to support the zipper. Plus, even after "locking" the zipper, the zipper came unzipped after walking for a bit. I love the style of these shoes and really wanted them to work. They just didn't.

I love the look of these sneakers and they do have great arch support. However, I ended up with a blister and heel pain with the first wear. I don't typically have feet problems so I guess these just aren't for me. I have several other pairs of Taos (sandals) that fit great.

I wanted these to fit because I really like the way they look. I ordered a half size larger because of all the comments here but I have a high arch and it was just too difficult to zip up the shoe. So not easy on or easy off for me.

VERY stiff shoe and too wide at the heel. (Slips when walking and I have a normal width foot.). Style is cute, but I found these uncomfortable to walk in due to very inflexible soles. The shoe is also very heavy - definitely not a win as a travel shoe.

I loved the style but as others have commented there is too much slipping in the heel. Tight in toes loose in heel.

These shoes were cute but ran small, and we too stiff. The rubber sole was thick and inflexible.

I really like the style and fit but.... the left shoe makes a loud clicking noise when I walk. It's so annoying I've only been able to wear the shoes a couple times. My co-workers have commented on it so I won't be wearing them again. If I could return them I would!

These shoes were too stiff and absolutely hit my hammer toe in the wrong place. I couldn't even begin to break them in. So disappointed as I was going to take them on a trip.

I loved the style but they are really uncomfortable! I tried walking around in the house. They were just too uncomfortable! I really wanted to keep them for the style but I had to choose comfort over style! :-(

Runs small. No cushion. Cheaply made

Fit was tight. Shoe upper ridged with no room for my toes - my toes were in pain within minutes of putting shoes on.

When I saw these shoes I wanted to order them right away. The zippers in addition to the laces added style to the shoe plus I thought if I could get the laces tied the way I wanted to and use the zippers to put them on and take them off it would be great. Unfortunately the zippers were hard to open and close when I didn't have the shoe on and I could not close them all when I had them on. The fabric around the ankle and heel was rough.

Was excited to use the quick zipper option during TSA check in - but sadly the zipper wouldn't zip completely on left shoe and when walking came unzipped and then shoe fell off. Zipper was fine on right shoe so maybe just a fluke but can't recommend.

Material was very stiff and uncomfortable. Didn't seem like they would "break in".

This is such a cute shoe with great colors. The removable insole is a nice feature for those of us with orthodics, and it seems to have substantial arch support although I can't say for certain since I only tried these on and didn't actually wear them. Sadly, there is absolutely no cushioning or support for the ball of the foot. Considering the thick bottom sole one would expect some but that's just optics. Hard as rock. I was very disappointed since Taos claims to be a comfort shoe. I ordered the wide and my ring toe was hitting the side of the shoe. Going up wouldn't work as they would be too long. Too bad because I love the style.

Super cute but the shoe is very heavy and left my legs aching after wearing for 4 hours.

The length and width were fine, but in the insole was uncomfortable from my very first steps in the shoes. No cushioning- felt hard and lumpy.

I really wanted these cuties to work but the zippers didn't stay zipped. On my first day wearing I had to re-zip them at least a dozen times.

These looked so cute but the end of the zipper rubbed against my pinkie toe. The zippers are metal so there was no “breaking it in” - unfortunately they were too painful and I had to return them.

Really wanted to like these; they're so cute! Normally wear a 9, and usually medium width works, ankles & heels are narrow. Ordered 9.5 medium after reading reviews that said these run small, and I do think my normal size would have been too short. The length was right for my longest foot. The bummer moment came when the shoes slipped badly off my narrow heels/ankles. That drives me nuts with potential blister anxiety. Tried with the tab socks I'd be wearing and that didn't help, nor did tying them as tight as possible without squeezing foot bones. Must send back, and sad about it after an exhaustive online search for cute but casual shoes for vacation activities like museums and non-hiking where I want sporty/cute/comfort. Maybe will just do Keens and tab socks!

So cute - I could not get the zipper up and have a small foot. I must have a very high upper/top of foot. Had to return.

the shoe felt narrow. uncomfortable

Hi, it was just ok, but the shoe is hard, as I entered my foot it felt hard and uncomfortable. I do like the detail of the zipper on the side, but can not wear them.

Style is great . The Width , I got W , is not there . I got another pair with M width ( different color ) and those in W width to compare and they are not exactly the same ! Very poor arch support and runs half size smaller . Returned

Style is perfect. I find shoe laces annoying, so I love the zipper feature to make this shoe so quick and easy to get on and off. My feet have become wider in recent years, so I was pleased these shoes come in a Wide width. I ordered two sizes, both in Wide width, thinking one would work. Didn't happen. This shoe runs very narrow. Returned both pairs.
