So heel area was wide, but the toe box was not. They are cute and I really wanted them to work. Oh well.

I usually wear a 7.5. Even an 8 was FAR too small.

Taos definitely run small and inconsistent from style to style. I’m a 9.5/10 in regular shoes, 10 in Nike/Adidas, 41 in Ecco and 40 in Birkenstocks. I also had a pair of size 11 Taos Star, which worked ok, but never felt quilt right and looked like clown shoes. I am all over the size range depending on shoe brand and I have a narrow heel. I tried on a pair of 10.5 Plim Soul in a store after being measured at 9.5. They fit great. They didn't have the colors I liked so I ordered the Z-Soul from Zappos. The only difference I could see between the 2 was the zipper. My toes were were touching the top of the shoe. The arch support was perfect and there was no heel slippage. I have had Plantar Fasciitis, Achilles Tendinitis and Metatarsalagia, so I recognize the need for a good fitting supportive shoe. But finding a supportive shoe that looks stylish is proving to be difficult. Thank you Zappos for your awesome return policy.

I have narrow feet and these were still too narrow for me.

Footbed too hard. Expected the same comfort & cushion has Taos sandals but it was missing.

Only two stars because of my own weird feet. I love the look of these. My daughter bought them and I to have them too. Love the zipper and not having to tie them every time. originally bought my true size which is a 9 but my really long toes hit the front because of the rounded toe box. I returned for a 9.5 but, alas, that just doesn’t work for my very narrow heel. despite the snug fit up front my heel just slips too much for comfort.

I wore these after reading how you could easily walk 20 thousand steps and be comfortable- well I walked about 11 thousand and have 4 blisters on both my feet actually bled on the back heel from the pressure and I had on moleskin on my heel just to be safe.

I bought my normal size and I literally walked out of them. I also found the zipper to be utterly useless. This is my 2nd pair of Taos - the first were so small I couldn't fit my foot in and these were too large. I'm thinking this isn't my brand.

Didn’t fit

I don't understand all of the reviews saying they're so comfortable. There is almost NO support under the ball of my foot. I'm definitly not keeping these.

Could walk out of them

I was excited for these shoes. Sadly, they were a huge disappointment. When I tightened the laces enough so that my heel didn't slip out, the zipper was impossible to operate. They are very heavy, not as described. I am returning them.

If these shoes are a Wide, I am the Pope. It 's almost a joke. At most they are narrows, and I doubt few people that wear a narrow can get their foot into them.

so very disappointed. Thought they felt "ok" and they were so cute that I thought I'd break them in. Worn them one day and didn't think I'd make it through the day. I have bought Taos before and thought they were wonderful. Not so these. Since I've worn them I can't return. I'm gonna try to swap inserts before I give to charity or toss. I wanted to wear them on an upcoming vacation where I'll be doing a lot of walking - but no way.

These shoes run really tight even tho the laces can be adjusted.

The zippers are very hard to operate and get stuck

I need to return. I think the shoe is really cute. I like the idea of the zipper, however, it is too difficult for me to zip up. Shoe was snug.

Fit fine (7 medium), but the seams in the back half of the shoe press into my foot and heel. I've never had a shoe with seams that feel like someone forgot to sand them off. Sad because the style is great. Will be returning.
