I need Birkenstock insoles as I have flat feet and almost all my shoes are Birkenstock, but I haven't found good athletic shoes through them. The combination of their 3/4 athletic insole plus TOPO trail shoes is the perfect solution for me. I have several pair and it's all I'm wearing during the COVID quarantine. Good athletic shoes keep me moving and I'm making my step goal almost every day!

Was looking for zero drop with controlling rear foot - these are perfect for the control I need! Love the protective material. Excited to try more TOPO shoes!

I run on trails and dirt roads. Love the wide toe box - it allows my toes to spread comfortably especially when running up hills. This is my third pair and will buy them again

I love these! My first pair was the hydroventure (loved), then hydroventure 2 (fit nicely but noisy), and now trying these. Right out of the box, they fit perfectly, comfy, flexible yet supportive, they just feel perfect! I do miss the waterproofing from the hydroventures, but I might try a topical application. I use these for everyday use: working inside on tile floors and stairs, playing with my kid on gravel, grass, concrete, anything. I haven't hadbthe opportunity to do any hiking or real running, but I am suspecting a glowing performance.

Typically, my distances are on the shorter side (about 8-10k max), and I usually run on road/asphalt but am trying to prepare for an OCR so needed something that's also great for trails. The customer service team made this recommendation to me after I shared this use case and what shoes I used previously. I'm not sure I would have picked these out myself, but I'm actually so very happy with their recommendation! These shoes are sturdy without feeling bulky. I enjoy the firmer feel to them. I was little worried about adjusting to a lower drop, but I haven't noticed much of a difference at all. I also wasn't a huge fan of the coral color at first as I prefer darker tones, but how it blends with the blue and grey has grown on me. These shoes are also great for neighborhood walks with my dog. Big fan!

I purchased these for my 8 year old (she has a good size foot). She absolutely loves them as do I because they let her toes splay naturally something I am passionate about for their growing bodies and feet. She's had zero issues with them and she wears them running and walking. A lot of others brands she's had to "break in" to feel comfortable. Not these - she loved these right out of the box! Thank you! (I am Topo Athletic ambassador).

Love, love, love them! As a former MT-2 wearer, I was super excited when these came out. My runs have changed recently to be more gravel based than road so was looking for a more rugged shoe to handle the terrain. These more than fit the bill. So happy with this purchase! As an ambassador in can't thank Topo enough for making shoes to meet all my needs.

I am really loving these straight out of the box! I am new to Topo but I am glad I discovered this brand through online YouTube reviews. I needed a shoe with a wide toe box, mid-level cushioning, and that could easily transition between trail running, road running, and hiking. This seems to be pretty perfect for that. I love the bright orange-red color too. I am looking forward to wearing this in the Grand Canyon this fall!. I liked them so much I bought my husband a pair!

I hike and do light jogging in my shoes. 20-30 miles per week. They are a responsive shoe and felt good out of the box. I have a narrow heel and high arch. The felt secure mid foot but could be narrower in the heel. Also, the lacing holes make it a little difficult to put in arch relief window when lacing. Toe box is roomy and eases break over big toe.

Did a 12 mile hike with these. Nice to have the vibram soles which did a great job gripping. My feet felt a little more stuffed in the toes than the wider road/running topos. And I was surprised how much fine dirt from the trail made it into my shoes and permeated my socks. Wasn't expecting that.

I have 3 pairs of the original Ultraventure, and they are hands-down the best running shoes I have had in 40 years. My first pair has been retired with well over 500 miles on them. The two additional pairs have 200 & 320 miles and still look and feel almost new. I purchased a pair of Ultraventure 2 and am a little disappointed. They have less than 100 miles and the inside of the heel is already starting to rub a hole. Two friends with the same shoe (and also fans of the prior model) are seeing the same thing. Also, the toe on the new model does not have as much protection for the toes as the original, which had little rubber/plastic strips that were just enough to offer a bit more protection when catching toes on rocks or roots. The cushioning is good.

Honestly, I don't wear shoes most of the year because I live in Florida so I spend most of my time in sandals. However, I have problem feet and need a good pair of athletic shoes when we go on vacation and such and would be in need of a good, supportive shoe. My favorite athletic brand up until now starts with a "H" but they've made some changes to their most cushioned styles that don't agree with my feet anymore. I read about TOPO Athletic on a blog for people with "problem" feet. Recently, I have also been diagnosed with arthritis in my big toe so it's important for me to wear shoes with plenty of wiggle-room for my toes. So far, I really like this pair of shoes but I probably haven't had a chance to wear them long enough at this point to make a really informed recommendation.

After multiple foot surgeries and gait problems these are the best athletic shoes I have found and can rarely wear any other shoes- which is why I would love it if they made some more neutral colors to go with more outfits- please make some skin tone varieties and muted earth tones so I can pair these with ALL my outfits and not just running/athletic wear

I love the wide toe box that allows my feet to expand during long trail runs. Overall they feel great. The one problem I'm having is that they seem to expand within a few miles of running - they had loosened so much, I had to tighten them twice during a 14 mile run.

One pair for my indoor workout shoes at the gym, the second pair for outdoor walking. The most comfortable athletic shoes I've owned. Roomy are upfront for toes and good support all over!

Overall a good fit. I usually wear 10-10.5 in running shoes, but these fit well in size 11. In this size, my toes do not hit any of the harder parts of the upper. Overall a good shoe, but would like to see a lighter shoe with less cushion and more flexibility.

I use these for trail running. I like that they are light and minimal. They don't have any cushion but that doesn't bother me. I just wish they were waterproof like the hydroventures that I had. They do slide a little on wet surfaces.

I do most of my running on trail but got these for mixed surface runs and the rare times I do a road run. Unfortunately they are the first Topo's I've tried that disappointed me (I'm a long time big fan of Topo's Terraventures and Runventures and have previously had Fly-lite or Magniflys for roads). While the fit is ok through most of the foot, there is one point across the base of the toes where the shoe is uncomfortably tight, and I find that they feel stiff and unresponsive on trail but also don't absorb as much shock as I'd like on road. They're ok shoes (so get 3 stars) but uninspiring compared to other Topos I've had (so lose the last two).
