Unable to provide complete review. As far as what is viewable. They look comfortable. My husband has only stated that they are comfortable for all day wear in the outdoors.

I bought these lightweight hiking boots after receiving a defective pair of Vasque boots, which had been my go-to brand. They are good looking and comfortable, and so far are holding up well after a couple of months in the vineyards and ranch land. They are very lightweight, so might not work in rougher conditions, but for daily outdoor activity they are very good. I like North Face products generally.

I bought these to replace the pair I purchased more than 10 years ago. They are even lighter than my last pair and for hiking thats super valuable. In a way, I hike everyday around NYC and these are also perfect. I walk right through puddles completely confident mu feet are safe, secure and dry.

I have bad ankles so I bought this hiking shoe for the heel support. When I saw vibram it was a done deal. Took them on a 13 mile hike in the San Rafael. I like them. But they are just a high top with a fantastic sole. Could be improved but with everything made in china these days it's probably the best your gonna get.

Great hiking boots, honestly. But probably too bulky to pack for an overseas/plane trip. Definitely good to have to hike locally. Sturdy build and water-proof. The soles are thick enough to walk over nails and sticky enough to climb steep slopes.

I've had these boots for about 10 months now. I've hiked in the mountains, forests, and trails. They wear comfortable right from the start and fit my foot perfectly. I've probably walked 40-50 miles in them and I haven't had an issue. The only time my feet got wet was from a surprise torrential downpour in the middle of a hike. If you can get the 50% off it's a steal but they are a little pricey if you can't. I'd say give them a try

Cool design, toughness, and comfort are three things that are hard to combine in a hiking shoe. This shoe fits the "glove" in all categories. If you're a moderate hiker, I highly recommend this product.
I only deducted one star because of one flaw: the back loops of the shoes. The stitching is not as durable as it looks but the rest of the show build is superb. No complaints yet, only comfort.

Really enjoy the way the boots look and how they fit; the only downside is the lack of ankle support. With such light boots comes thin boot material and doesn't give the best support. Won't stop me from wearing, just being picky.

Great boots. Awesome update to previous boot. Better cushioning around ankle. I love that it comes with an extra pair of darker color laces that matches the boots. They have only been worn around the house just got them a day ago. I can't wait to wear them outside to see how good they are.

I have the fast pack lll which are very comfortable but make my feet over heat due to the forested not breathing well. I hope these updated with futurelight are a big improvement in breath ability, I will report back when I have had a few days hiking in them

Did not care for these boots. Fit was good, but they were very stiff, and did not seem very rugged. They sort of had a cheap feeling. Returned them.

Love the boots. Super comfortable and lightweight. Had them for 9 months now and they have held up okay. Issue is they are not waterproof! Walking through wet grass will leave your socks wet. Walking through snow or puddles and you will be miserable.

I have purchased many North face shoes over the years, but these are my least favorite unfortunately not very durable or water resistant. Although they are lightweight and comfortable I need a shoe like I have purchased before that is durable and waterproof.

The boot was difficult to slip on out of the box because the tongue is sewn to the boot so far up the opening that it restricts the space for your foot to slide into the boot. I could get it on with effort but ultimately decided it wasn't worth it...there are other boots easier to get on. Sadly, while I only wore the boots inside and they were like new, I tried too long to make them work and ran past the return date. I guess I'll just give them to a clothing charity.

Boots are great looking however the toe box is narrower than normal for TNF shoes of the same size. I have a ton of TNF products and they normally are very consistent in the sizes however I will have to return these.
I would highly recommend not ordering online and trying on in a store.

I've put 500+ miles on a pair of these, in early spring to mid-summer day hikes in the northern Sierras, and the advantages and disadvantages have become apparent. The best thing about them are the outer soles-- extremely sticky on bare rock, yet with enough of an edge to be able to traverse highly angled snowfields with spring snow. The outer fabric has excellent breatheability, and the water-proofing was good until it was compromised by rock cuts. A very comfortable and competent shoe, overall. Two major negatives that limit their utility, however. First, I generally experience foot fatigue after about 8-10 miles on rocky/stony terrain. There just isn't quite enough thickness to the inner sole under the ball of the foot for my taste. So, I would not use these for long-distance treks, involving long days over such terrain. Second, as noted, the outer covering is susceptible to rock cuts. Given this, I expect I will get only one year of service out of these, which seems insufficient given the price. I also don't much like the idea of filling up landfills with shoes that wear out each year. I no longer rock climb, but this would make a terrific approach shoe. Not sure if I'll buy another pair next year.

I bought these boots because they seemed quite comfortable and were advertised as waterproof using nothrface's futurelight technology.
They are indeed quite comfortable which is what I needed for light backpacking, however they are NOT waterproof at all. Not even water resistant I would say. When the shoe comes in contact with water, you immediately feel your feet wet. For snowy conditions, don't even think about it. After a couple of hours my feet were soaking wet. Very disappointing. I will be using ng this only on dry conditions from now on, and I won't be buying anything from Northdace any time soon.

I have only bought North Face hiking boots for the past 10 years because I have been so happy with their quality and fit. I can't even call these hiking boots. These are urban sneakers at best. They are very comfortable for walking around on flat surfaces like sidewalks, but they don't offer any of the features you want in the woods aside from waterproofing. If you ever had a pair of boots that are too stiff, these are the complete opposite. They are soft like jello. It's like wearing a sock with tread. There is no foot support, even though they are mids there is no ankle support, and the sole is so thin you can feel every rock, root and bump in the path. Even though they fit great under easy conditions, they strech and deform when hiking inclines and declines causing your foot to rub. Your foot floats and rolls on trails that are slanted like we have in the North East. I think they tried to reinvent the wheel too much and forgot what made their previous designs so amazingly functional for hikers.

I've bought many pairs of North Face walking boots, and I always buy a half size larger than my fit. These are so small that even with that extra half, I can only wear the very lightest socks - even a light walking sock would be uncomfortably tight. Not suitable for walking any distance, anything more than a couple of miles ends up rubbing. Very light, and the soles are solid, but feel very flimsy and don't provide a lot of ankle support.

I have had these boots for almost 5 months. At first, they were great and I would have given them a 5/5. About a month ago, they became 100% NOT waterproof. My feet stay more dry in my converse. I can't even walk through wet grass without my feet being totally saturated. I'm pretty disappointed considering the price of the boots, and the fact that they only have like 50 miles on them. To make it worse, when I contacted North Face their only solution was for me to send the boots to them so they could inspect them and decide whether or not I deserve the warranty coverage. Also, I am paying my own shipping. This will leave me with no boots for who knows how long. Honestly, these boots are not worth the hassle and a better product with more accommodating customer service can be found with other brands like Keen. I should never have made the switch and would definitely not recommend North Face boots to anyone.
