I ordered wrong size, I read they ran a lil small. So I ordered a 12, instead of 11.5 like normal. Mistake

These appear to be good quality; well built. Very comfortable through arch. However, the toe box is too tight. Defiantly need a larger size than usual nike. Toes were cramped and rubbing. Going to a larger length won't help much in the toe box. Good quality but not a right fit for me.

Heard great reviews about this shoe. My short, wide 2x, high instep feet are not made for this shoe. Maybe Saucony will have a "wider" (ball and toe) size that will fit me. Back to Newbalance for now.

I had the guide ISO and the guide ISO 2 and they were both great for me. When I saw the guide 13 come out looking even more stylish then the older models I was so excited. I have given this shoe two different tries and for some reason it makes my toe hurt/go numb. I have never had this problem with any other shoe so it is very strange. I have plenty of room in the toe length wise, it feels like my big toe is just falling off the inside ledge, or something is stabbing at it. I tried the wide version of the shoe and they were much too wide. Hope this changes with the next guide model as I liked the amount of arch support and everything else about the shoe was a great ride.

I have had multiple ankle surgeries.
Not near enough stability and support though the shoe is comfortable.
I'm going to need a wider heel .
If you have suggestions beyond the shoe fit profile let me know .

The shoes are very comfortable overall. That's a big plus.
However, the shoes are a little too wide for my feet, so that I have to pull the laces very tight. I don't think my feet are the problem, because I don't remember having this issue with running shoes in the past.
Worse, I only got about 200 miles out of my shoes, because the soles wore away so rapidly. I did almost all of my running on a synthetic track with a soft surface, so again, I think the issue must be with the shoes. The soles must be made of unusually soft material that doesn't hold up.
The soles of other shoes I have bought in the past, from Saucony and other manufacturers, have lasted much, much longer. I can't even remember discarding another pair of shoes because of wear to the soles. This may be the first time.
I did a lot of research before buying this pair of Saucony Guide 13's. Even though they wore out quickly, I bought another pair of the same shoes to replace them. I wasn't up for doing more shoe research. And as I said, they were comfortable, which matters a lot to me.

I used to get the guide for the wide (anatomical) toebox as well as the support features. This version has done away with that, unfortunately, and has the standard narrow toe. It also pinches in near the heal and, though the lip is soft foam, I do not like this feature. I have been running in Guides since the Guide 6, but I'm searching for a new shoe.

I have worn other shoe brands and never had a problem with the wide widths. Unfortunately, this shoe was still too narrow and fit a half size small compared to my other shoes. Otherwise it is a beautiful shoe with great quality.

The normal width shoe is incredibly narrow through the midfoot. I had no issues in the toe box with width and the shoe fit well overall except for the midfoot/heel. I convinced myself I just needed to break them in, but after a week of runs the pain in my arches was unbearable. I exchanged the normal width for the wide version of the shoe because I really do think this shoe is solid. You can feel it. And just standing and walking around they feel incredible. Unfortunately, the wide version did not work either. The midfoot is only slightly more wide, still not enough room. The toe box in the wide version was also slightly more roomy, but that was never the issue to begin with so now it feels too roomy. If you are going to buy these shoes I recommend waiting until its safe to try them on in a store. The shoe just won't work for everyone. Especially if you have "wide" feet and lower arches. This is the first time I have ever worn a wide version of any shoe btw.

I am a 40 + years runner have worn the guides "forever" since they first came to the Saucony family . I recently have a problem in joint of my left big toe. I got the "standard" width 13's and I must admit it was very smooth and comfortable in my normal size on the normal foot, but on the problem foot it really exacerbated the problem. Too narrow and tight on the forefoot. but I had to exchange my 8.5D for 8,5 wides. They are better on the problem foot but too roomy and seemingly even too long on the normal foot. Since the wide is an improvement on the troubled toe, I'll stick with it for now, but think I need to move (after decades) to a good secure shoe (like the Guides) but with a wider and roomier toebox than the Guide 13. (maybe Hoka One One)

I am a diehard Saucony guy. I'm also a realistic person, in that not every issue/release of a shoe is going to meet expectations. Doesn't mean that it's a bad shoe - as everyone's foot is different. I noticed since receiving the Guide 13 upon release day- my feet have HURT. I'm not talking just a minor issue with breaking-in the shoes. I've noticed specifically that these shoes are much stiffer out of the box than previous models. And much stiffer than competitor's shoes as well. I find myself going back to the Guide Iso 2's (regardless of your feelings of the ISO fit, I liked it) - because a) they are obviously broken in, but b) the fit is so much better! I may be one of few - but I do think I may buy out of brand for this upcoming running season. I will say however, style - and fit - are great. I do think that the new lacing system is fine (I like ISO better, but no complaints) - and I love the style. I think it fits your foot like a glove, and I honestly think this release feels lighter and feels faster. Great qualities - but the stiffness at the balls of my feet are causing me a great deal of discomfort. Would love to see if this is a common issue.

My third pair, but these are not stable at all. I constantly roll my right ankle. I think my favorites where the 6's.

Lacks cushioning. Normal width size does not have adequate room for the toes as it tapers towards the push off more than other brands. First time in my life I had to order a wide width shoe but it fits better.

Have been a big fan of Saucony Guides. Unfortunately this version has not held up as well as previous models. I figure in the 8 months I've had them, I've hiked roughly 240 miles on easy trails and the inside heel has worn out on the right shoe. I'm disappointed to have to start a search for a more durable shoe.

I was trying to replace a wide Grid ISO 2. The above shoe, while nice, is not the same thing (or even close). I have other non-wide shoes which are wider than these. I guess I picked the wrong shoe.

Super comfortable except the toe doesn't maintain its shape! It has creased and causes my toenail to catch on it which is extremely uncomfortable

This is my first pair of stability shoes and I can see how they would improve my gait...if I were able to keep them stationary on my feet. I've been wearing these to walk for about 2 months and the more I wear them, the wider they get. I now have to tie them so tightly that there are wrinkles in the toe and they look awful. Even so, they slide around on my feet and pull my socks off. I also feel like I'm sinking into them with every step and my calves and shins are noticeably more tired than with my old pair. These felt great at first but they just keep getting bigger.
I guess I don't understand who these shoes are for? I bought them to help stabilize my overpronation but with such flimsy sides/upper materials what's the point?

Having completed 110 miles of mostly road running in this shoe, I can say that it doesn't make me look forward to running.
Running is hard enough as it is for me. As someone who has concentrated more on weight lifting the past couple of years, the quarantine has forced me to adapt to other means to maintain my fitness. In a typical gym session, I usually interject lifting weights with planned cardio (HIIT) and then end my time with a 2 - 3 mile run. With gyms now closed, I've upped my training to 4 - 6 miles.
I knew running farther was going to be harder. If it wasn't, I'm sure most people would do it. Do you know what's harder than running though? Running in a pair of shoes you hate. I don't like these running shoes. Every step feels like a slog. Each time I step, it feels like I'm sinking and I need to use that much more energy to lift my foot up and start the cycle again. I usually try to take back neighborhood streets to get where I need to go to satisfy my desired mileage. That way, very few people can witness my suffering.
There's no "spring" to these shoes, even when they were new. There's no impetus to propel you forward. There's a lot of energy absorption but little return provided. That's really frustrating. I've even added 3/4 length orthotic insoles to the existing Saucony ones and I've switched out the insoles entirely to see if I could get a better ride, but despite all these efforts, I haven't had the desired results. Based on what I weigh and the average number of miles one can use on running shoes, I'm thinking I need to get another 240 miles to get my money's worth. It's going to be very very challenging but that's my fault for choosing the wrong shoe.
Also after a 110 miles, the heal is visibly wearing away and I see white around the corners of the shoe. I may need to repair that with some Goo or something else possibly.
As someone who mildly over pronates, I have had past success with Saucony so I haven't completely given up on them. I've ran in past iterations of the Grid Hurricanes and didn't like them. I've also run in the Scorpions which I liked very much but they don't make them anymore.
Two things I did like -
1. The upper fabric which hugs my feet . My feet feel secure and the material is soft and breathable.
2. I like the width of the shoes very much. The shoe itself feels slightly wider than other shoes, namely that swoosh company. The latter makes my feet feel more constricted and I often feel a notion to go 1/2 size up in order to accommodate but then my shoe is slightly longer and it can change my running gait.
So it appears I am in the minority because other reviewers really love this shoe. For me, it'd be a big ask to try future models of the Saucony Guide. I wouldn't buy the 13s again though.

I've owned these shoes for just over a month and these are my thoughts after 100+ miles.
Truly, I don't like them. I gave one star for how it fits - I like the upper material and how it houses my foot and I like that the forefoot seems just a tad wider compared to other shoes like Nike or Adidas allowing my toes to splay out as needed and comfortably. I gave a second star for the sole of the shoe and how it's held up through my runs. There's no wear.
However, these points are not enough for me to look forward to and enjoy my runs in them. Just about every step feels like a slog. I feel like I am getting less than 75% of my energy return with every foot strike. I have a lot of trouble getting decent turnover, especially as I try to speed up at the end of a run. I've tried changing insoles but that didn't help. I've also tried including a 3/4 insole underneath the included Saucony factory one but this change only slightly helped. After 25 workouts, I feel like I have just marginally improved. It's very hard to continue pushing yourself when you feel like you're not getting back even half as much as you put in, and this speaks mainly to the "springy-ness" of the shoe. As related earlier, it just seems like the shoe is more of an inhibitor than a catalyst.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not some spoiled kid who Is expecting his shoes to generate bursts of air allowing him to glide during his runs, but I would like a shoe that doesn't seem like it sinks with every step and then doesn't return most of that energy to help you forward. I just feel like I'm doing more work, putting forth more effort than necessary.
Based on my size, weight and the types of runs I do, I'll estimate I probably have another 250-275 miles left in these shoes before I get my money's worth. I can't just toss these shoes aside, buy a new pair of running shoes and pretend these don't exist. I haven't given up on Saucony but I do know I won't be returning to future iterations of this particular line.

I've had 2 pairs of these so far this year and both of them came apart on the heels with less than 100 miles on them. The comfort and feel is a little stiff and clunky in my opinion. Customer service has been great working with me on replacing these shoes.
