Not nearly as good as my previous Merrell Breeze Clogs; the materials and fit just aren't up to the previous quality.

Actually I was a bit disappointed with the quality of this shoe. I have an old pair of Merrell similar to this style, and they are of far better quality and comfort. I also have some Merrell flip flops, and are more comfortable that these Encore Breeze. These felt cheap. Not something I would expect from Merrell.

Have had two pairs of these for years and thought I should replace them. While I won't return them, they aren't the same quality as what I had before. They feel "cheap" and I can see the indentation of my big toe in both. They feel good, although a bit roomy. Pls bring back the original quality and let me know so that I can buy them.

These run large and there is just no heel support, which is why I had to return them. The backs flop off when you walk and podiatrists say this is very bad for my foot type. Merrill's previous model was much better with a taller back and therefore it had good heel support.

I have been wearing Merrell slip-ons for a number of years. However, every recent purchase of what is supposedly the same style shoe has not fit properly. The heel is too large and slips off my foot with each step. I really wanted to be able to have the same comfort with the new ones but it was not to be. So sad. I will not try again.

I have purchased this shoe several times, and fit and size were as expected. The color was much lighter than expected-not close to the picture on the website. I returned them.

The strong chemical smell is atrocious. Tried to air out the shoes in my garage for a week. Didn’t help. Disappointed. Do not get these until Merrell resolves this issue.

I almost purchased the exact model a couple of years ago and the previous model was made much better and $30 less expensive! I was told that clogs are selling well during covid and therefore there is less supply.

The fit was fine. They are fairly comfortable. They have a strong, plasticy odor that has not gone away even after 2 weeks of wear and using foot powder. Also the left shoe squeaks, a lot. I would not purchase these again.

I love Merrill shoes and have an older pair of Merrill Encore Breeze that I have worn into the ground. The fit for the 9.5 was perfect --this is my 'usual' shoe size. Unfortunately, Merrill has changed the shoe design so that the back of the shoe no longer 'hugs' your heel, making a secure fit for the shoe. It is lower now. The result is that my heel slips in and out of the lower back, creating blisters from the rubbing. PLEASE Merrill, go back to your previous design!! If you want to offer a 'backless' slip-on, then truely make it backless! This intermediate design does not work at all.

I wish these had better arch support. Other than that they are cute.

I have worn this style of Merrell's for many years and realized my three old pairs in size 8 were too short now in the length. After reading all the reviews, I took a chance and ordered a pair. I based the size (9) on other shoes that fit comfortably. These seemed extra long and even a bit wide. I ordered another pair in 8-1/2 to try and hope one of these works. BUT, the smell from the materials used to fabricate this shoe is horrible. I left them in the garage for several days and yet the smell is still there. Sure hope it goes away soon. Not sure about the fabric wrinkling complaints but time will tell. The fabric is definitely different than styles from the past.
