Shoes did not fit as previous models. I believe the heel has lost flexibility due to binding reaching down to sole. Also the smell in horrible.

Love these shoes! They are perfect for summer. Light weight and very comfortable. I needed something that I could slip on and off easily at our campsite that would be more substantial than just flip flops. These are exactly what I wanted!

Great shoe. Fit was perfect and comfortable right out of the box. I live in these shoes. Light on your feet but well made with a substantial sole.

This is the second pair of these shoes I have. I have problems with my feet and these are very comfortable.

No need to break in shoes at all. Slipped right on like a comfortable old pair os shoes.

Very comfy shoe. My second pair of Encore Breeze slip on. Great travel shoe also..very light weight!

My go to shoes are Merrell Slip Ons. Very comfy and these go well with jeans.

From the first minute I put these on, they felt wonderful. The Merrells I've gotten have always been perfect for my foot. I have plantars faciitis on my right foot and these work wonderfully with the thin rubber insert my heel sits on. Once again, Merrell's is the greatest for me.

I wear stockings or thin socks with all my Merrills and these fit perfectly the moment I slipped them on.

I sized up a 1/2 size and they fit beautifully. They are comfortable right out of the box and have just a high enough back on the heel to be comfortable yet still slide off easily.

Had these years ago and wore them out. Comfort level has improved and I love them again.

These were fine - a nice shade of olive, which was the main draw for me. However, after walking around the house, I realized they weren't the greatest walking shoes, which is what I got them for. So back they go. I've had this style of Merrells in the past, but my standards have changed. Will stick with closer fitting shoes, or shoes with laces for walking. As for the heel flapping that others have mentioned, that can be fixed by simply substituting insoles that aren't as thick as the Merrell insoles. No more flapping, but still didn't feel secure enough for long walks.

I usually wear a size 9 1/2 or 10 shoe. I have always worn a 10 in Merrells. The size 10 in this shoe initially felt fine but the mesh fabric was quick to “give”, stretching approximately a 1/2 size within minutes. I ordered a 9.5 medium and a 9 medium and the 9.5 is a much better fit for me. This shoe is marvelously light in weight and has very comfortable arch support. Surprisingly though, despite the nice mesh fabric on top of the shoe the soles of my bare feet get very hot in these shoes. In fact, it is pretty cool out right now and my feet are perspiring — and they rarely do so. My objective was to find a quick and easy to slip on comfortable, casual mule or loafer chiefly for running errands and for dog walking. Other than the mentioned unwanted warmth I have enjoyed these shoes for their comfortable fit with no rubbing or blisters and especially appreciate the ease of slipping into them.

I several of pairs of this style. I love them. They are supportive, fit perfectly, washable (no dryer). I can wear them to work or play. I have even worn them 'off road' chasing the dog.

I almost always wear a 9 1/2 or 10 medium in shoes — and a 10.5 in most running shoes. The size 10 in this shoe is probably as good as it gets without a custom made last; if these were 1/4 size smaller it would be my dream fit. Regardless of this small personal note, these shoes in a 10 are lightweight, comfortable and the arch is exactly in the right place for great support. I have been wearing my very, very old shearling lined Merrell Chill shoes for nearly everything but formal wear ( LOL) and had been disappointed in recent years with the poorer fit of the Encore style. These shoes are better than I had expected and are just what I wanted for errands, dog-walking, etc.. I recommend these very highly!

The Encore Breeze 4 is a huge improvement over the Encore Breeze 3. This shoe’s fit it better in that it conforms to my foot and the toe box is rounder than the Breeze 3. I normally wear a size 8 and sometimes an 8.5 in Merrell’s but 7.5 is the right size in this open backed shoe for me. I wear clogs so am used to my heel rising a little when walking. I have not walked out of the shoe as it is the right size for me.

Have had some medical issues and due to swelling decided to try LARGER and WIDER shoes. Hallelujah! Perfect!

Not doing the review other than stars. Give me a break.

Much narrower than expected from a slip on shoe. I must wear thin socks to get these on. NOT for wide feet.

They are as pictured and described but I realized after I got them that with a toe issue I have, I need a shoe with a back.

Wasn't sure about the width so purchased regular and wide. The regular fit has plenty of room. Since having foot surgery I've needed a wide shoe but the M width in these shoes was perfect. If the price was lower I would buy a few more pairs. I think we're paying for the name. All in all happy with the shoe and fit.
