Beautiful boots. Little stiff around the top yet comfortable. Keeps your feet warm. Got a half size smaller and think I could have got a full size smaller but used insole and fits fine.

Took them on a hiking trip to Montana after only about a 5 mile break in. No sores anywhere on my foot! Even my first wear I walked 2 1/2 miles without an issue. This is due to Relaxed Fit. I have a very pronounced bunion on one foot and this boot did not bother it at all. My foot measures 10 1/4" and I purchased a size 9 1/2. One thing I would change is the laces. Flat cotton laces that stay tied would be better!

Bought these to wear while visiting Ireland so I wanted them early to break in. They don't appear to need a break in period for me. I usually buy wides as I'm diabetic and need the extra room for my toes and front of foot but these are plenty roomy in regular sizing.

I bought an 8 wide after having a baby changed my feet. I couldn't buy my preferred brand and needed sturdy walking and working boots that didn't make my feet ache. Sadly, I wore the insole heel out in three weeks and replaced that with a keen insole. My toes have plenty of room but my heel shifts around no matter how tight I tie it. I guess I am in between 7.5 and 8 wide. I probably should have sent them back but I needed boots and they'll do for winter with thicker socks.

I've had these boots several times before, and always been pleased with them. But this pair had a defect that made them unwearable. The left one has some kind of lump where the boot fits the joint of the big toe, where a bunion would be if I had one. It's between the lining and the outer fabric and it presses down so that it hurts. I returned them, but I'll try again later when they will have a new batch in. Meanwhile, I'll make do with my previous pair of Tregos.

I do like the boots but like I said, can be a challenge to get foot in and out but not sure if that is due to being new and not broken into.

Walking to work in cold weather. A little stiff but that's ok. I will buy them again. This is my second pair. Could you make them with arch support, please. Is black available

It is a good product, exact what I intended to use them for. Still a little stiff but the more i wear it will fit my feet.

I was looking for some hiking boots that weren't too heavy and came in a wide width. I like the boots but they do seem to run a bit large. I usually buy a size 7 (i need a 6 1/2 wide - most shoes do not come in wide for my size) these are comfortable as so far have not hurt my feet. They are heavier than regular shoes so that takes a bit of getting use to.

Usually love Skechers, currently have four pairs of Skechers trainers. Ordered my usual size in these - 5/38. Length is fine so have enough room to wiggle my toes, but guess the width is too wide, as when trying them on and walking round the room, my heels were slipping out slightly. Even tried tying them as tight as I could, but still the same problem, so had to return them.

Gonna take some getting used to being a 'high top'. Will have to break them in a little at a time as it's tight above the ankle

Originally, I purchased the 8.5 in regular. My toes felt squished, but my mom loved them, so I gave her those, & I got the exact same shoe, & size, but in the wide fit. The toe room is perfect. The ankle-fit is still tricky to tie, even with the thick hiking socks, but they don't cut off circulation either. They comfortable for the most part. They are light-weight, waterproof, but needs more feet cushion. Especially for the extended wear, or when you're wearing them for the first time.

Wanted to love these but uncomfortable and too large/deep, even with inserts. Sizing seems different compared with another pair of athletic Sketchers that do work for me.

These feel kind of “clunky” or “chunky” on my feet. They look too big because I have really skinny ankles. But I have to keep them because I’ve gone hiking and gotten them all muddy.

Bought for hiking, little bit stiff at first, but good support for the trail. Hiked 5 miles on challenging terrain, held up well, warm, waterproof, with double socks, no sore spots at all. I wanted something halfway between boots and sneakers since my feet are very small and these really fit the bill. Despite prior broken toes/joint issues, was very pleased at the comfort, wore them all day after hiking! Could easily go 10-15 miles at least in them.

I bought this boots for hiking. I am still waiting for an opportunity to use them when the weather gets milder. Meantime I am trying to get used to them by walking nearby parks. For me, I am not accustomed to wear hiking booths and feel a bit stiff around the ankles. Two socks are needed to give an extra cushion around the ankles.
