I have a number of pairs of the original style MaryJanes from about 8 years ago! As they are finally wearing out, I ordered these. The originals weren't water shoes, so that is an added bonus - though I probably won't go creeking in these! Ordered my usual size so I have room for my orthotics. They would not have enough support for me without my orthotics. These have a nice roomy toebox, if that is something that matters to you...I have a slight right great toe bunion, so it matters. The Velcro adjustable strap is a plus - and would allow me to wear socks with these in the winter. Over all a great little shoe, nice tread, lots of cooling mesh - I'm glad I purchased them. Speaking of winter, a winter version of these would be great! Merrell what say you on that?

I've tried Jambu Mary Janes and Tevas because the last sandals I got from Merrell hurt my feet. I decided to give them another chance when I saw these and I was not disappointed! My Jambu Mary Janes started peeling from the back and I got these to replace those. The fit is super comfy, literally like wearing gym shoes but with the ventilation u need for the summer. They got bigger after a few times I wore them which is no problem because now they're even more comfy. I love that I've wet them (they're waterproof) and my feet don't stink and they dry fast. Honestly the best walking and hiking shoes I've ever bought. Will definitely buy again.

These breathable, lightweight shoes feel sturdy enough for an easy hike. They have great support and feel good all day long.

I've only had these a few days, but so far, they're great. Plenty of room for my custom insoles. The straps have lots of Velcro so they are very adjustable, but still have plenty of Velcro overlap for hold. I've walked about 15 km and no problems.

Love theses shoes comfy for every day use and for hiking, especially walking through water. Highly recommend

I've been searching for awhile for a mary jane syle mesh shoe. I FOUND IT!!! I heard that it was a tad bit bigger than normal Merrell size so I down sized one size and it's still a little big but it's not too big. (I ordered 7.5 instead of a normal 8 for me). I also read a review that it was too bulky before I ordered it, but I don't feel that it is. It's a comfy shoe with room for your toes to breathe. If you like a tight fitting shoe, than this shoe isn't for you. But if you like a comfy, air breathing shoe for the summer. THIS IS IT! I love Merrell and I love this shoe!!!

This shoe is perfect for hiking and creeking! It is a little bigger in the toe area and width than my other Merrell's, but I wore them for 8 hours hiking on the first day with no discomfort at all. I love them!

I am so happy with my Pandi 2! Perfect fit, great neutral color, light and airy feel, neat look. I stand most of the day and my Pandi 2 help so much I feel no pressure on my legs. I feel like I walk with a skip! I keep going all day until I take off my Pandi 2 when I go to sleep.

I LOVE these shoes! I had bought a similar pair three years ago. I wore them everyday, hiking, in the rain, in the creeks, and on the mountain trails. I had been looking for a new pair for a year now. I'm so happy to see these back in stock, new with stylish colors! They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I bought two pairs and I'm seriously thinking about ordering them in the third color.

Comfortable and cool. I will enjoy them in on hot days in Arizona.

Got these yesterday and am so pleased! The size 8 fit perfectly even though my left foot is a half size smaller than my right. The Velcro straps keep both comfortably and correctly placed on your feet and allow for quick adjustments, like at the end of a very busy day when feet sometimes swell. Unlike some shoes that have a breathable webbing, the mesh in these shoes is tightly woven enough to prevent debris from sneaking in while still allowing for substantial air flow throughout the day. And while I wouldn't recommend them for a day hiking through Jumping Cholla cactus, walking in the flat lands surrounding the Organ Mountains in NM was no hassle at all; the Vibram sole assures stability. Love them!

The shoes are very nice and they have a good sole however they are a bit wide if someone has narrow feet.

I bought these at the start of last summer and just pulled the out again for this year. I wore them every day, hiked in them, gardened in them, did errands etc. They're great, cute, and comfortable. My one critique is that I find them a bit wide so, if they're wet, my feet slide a bit in them which isn't always great for hiking. The velcro is not as strong as I'd like - it would also be good to have it a bit longer to make it easier to cinch the shoe tight? My feet aren't exceptionally narrow or anything so keep that in mind if you're buying a pair, especially if you have narrow feet. Overall, I do love them - enough that I'll probably buy a second pair for this year.

The style looked better online than received......looked to girly in my opinion

Cute in clunky sort of way. Great traction. Length good, width amorphous. Can wear with my inserts however, so working. In general, I am not thrilled with velcro--may be great for adjustability, but terrible for someone with hairy dogs.

Very cute and comfy. But if you have foot issues by ball of foot may be slightly thin, not a lot of cushion. So def wear comfy socks.

I recently purchased a pair of Waterpro Pandi 2 to wear while kayaking. I am very pleased with the fit and the sturdy Vibram sole that works so well for walking around on wet, slippery shorelines and rough forest trails. The mesh uppers help keep my feet cool in the kayak and the sturdy soles are excellent support for a long day of paddling. The Waterpro Pandi 2 shoes would not be good for walking in sand but otherwise these are excellent water sport shoes.

Comfortable, but not lot of arch support. Good for hiking and water.

I am size 6.5 for other Merrell Hiking shoes. But siz 6.5 for this waterpro pandi is too small. My toes hurt after a day. And I can't return it.

Very comfortable shoes! I wore them on a hike through El Yunque National Forest in Puerto Rico. Good traction on mixed terrain. The breathable mesh made these shoes comfortable in super humid conditions.

Adds a "cute" factor for a highly functional water shoe. Did hold some clay and silt from the rain swollen river, as it's not open-toed, but drains easily. Great Costa Rica adventure tour shoe.

Really great travel shoe for city walks and light nature walks even in wet weather- looks good with skirts and pants too. Only improvement would be a slightly more spongy inner sole for long days (but inserts might work)
