These are truly the "Mother of all Boots". They fit great out of the box and are keeping my feet warm and dry in 6 inches of snow.

These boots are everything I can ask for in a mid height boot. They fit great out of the box and keep my feet warm and dry. I've owned many pairs of Merrell shoes and boots with great satisfaction. These boots are one more reason I am a Merrell fan. Keep up producing great, quality footwear, Merrell, and I'll keep buying.

I bought the waterproof mid hikers and have been on two hikes so far. They are VERY comfortable and kept my feet dry in wet conditions. I ordered a half size up from what I might normally wear although it depends on the shoe. They fit perfectly and the wide width I ordered worked great for my foot as I need wide shoes. Highly recommended as it was a good price conparatively.

Bought them for hiking shoes, and have actually ended up wearing them daily as they are more comfortable and supportive than my daily sneakers!

I'm an Engineer for a hospital and walk constantly on concrete . Also alot of ladder climbing. I have severe tendonitis in both ankles , these MOAB 2 are the best I've found for my situation. Thanks Merrell Sal S.

I wear this Moab daily, and each pair lasts me nearly three years. So after ten years, I have just recently purchased my fourth pair. I did decide to upgrade to the Gore-Tex model, and was extremely disappointed by the wavy and flimsy look of the material both inside and out. "Cheap-looking" best describes it. So I exchanged the Moab Gore-Tex model for this Moab standard leather model, and know in the future to stick with this.

Did a fair bit of river boulder hiking and climbed up a really slippery granite trail. These hiking boots rarely slipped, and being waterproof is really useful around the river.

Just got back from a week hiking in the Smoky Mts in these boots and my feet felt great the whole time. Averaged 8 miles each day and the normal sore spots I had on my feet after hiking weren't there with these boots. It's only been a week actually hiking with them but seem pretty durable and they are pretty light as well. I have a really wide foot but with the wide width boot there was plenty of room. Didn't fully submerge them in water but went through some streams and my foot stayed dry. Only down side for me personally was I also have a high arch so wish there was a little more arch support but overall all, love the new boot and would definitely buy again. Can't wait to get back on the trails with them.

The shoes are comfortable and look amazing. I have wide feet and it's super hard to find any kind of shoe to fit them. So I really appreciate your wide sized shoes. Well done, folks. Jock

These hiking boots are comfortable right out of the box - no break-in required. I ordered a half size larger than I usually wear because I know Merrill's run a little small. I really love them, and would recommend them!

I'll start this off by saying I don't normally leave reviews but I decided to give the MOAB 2 a swing since my keens died. I have nothing good to say I took them on a 24 mile thru hike and was blown away I was on everything from sloppy mud to rock gardens and not one blister and dry feet! I am now a die hard Merrel fan and will never own another brand of shoes as long as I live.

I have been wearing Merriell footwear for as long as I can remember, I am 63 years old. I also have some back issues. I have purchased other products over the years and nothing comes close to the comfort that you get with Merrill.

The first series of this boot was a good boot, but I have got to give someone a round of applause. The toe box section is right on the money. I do not know if this is true across the board or I got an exceptional pair - they have not been this way in the past. I am thinking of ordering another pair jus to see. Not having your toes squeezed together makes for wonderful footwear. All I wear are Merrell. I don't buy tennis/dress shoes. I have a pair I wear to work (currently the Comp Toe) and have a nice pair of these for Church or any other event that requires nice shoes. I am an outdoor/in the garage person and the waterproof is an added bonus. The laces usually last longer than the boot, but I am a large frame person and that takes a toll on the footwear. Dean

I choose these boots for support and there light weight. Whore them in Uganda in the jungle over rivers and steep climb s on sliding rock Climbed Mt Kenya in them walked around the Masi Mara Is that enough to tell you to buy them. I left them for a porter who climbs Mt Kenya a lot Just bought another pair for my next trip to Africa

This is my 2nd pair of Merrel boots, the most comfortable boot you will ever purchase. The quality is 2nd to none! You won't be disappointed!

Great pair of hiking boots, minimum break-in required. The quality definitely matches up to the price. For me personally, they felt a little snag at first i got used to it after walking around for a couple of minutes. It's probably because I'm so used to wearing canvas skate shoes or sneakers all the time. These boots offer great ergonomics, protection and grip, no wonder why they are one of the special forces' favorite shoes.

These boots are great! Fit perfectly. Got them for a hiking trip in Utah. Didn't even need a break in period before I could wear them all day hiking the desert and canyons.

I love Merrell and I have pretty unusually shaped feet. This is not a complaint about the shoe, merely the sizing. Your wide width size is very wide. For your wide width, you should give customers a heads up about this. I had to get three different shoe sizes in wide to find the right size, because that's how much it affected the length of the shoe. I'd recommend telling customers that if they go wide, to go down .5 to 1 size from what they normally go for.

I based my size on the normal shoes i wear and they fit my foot like a glove out of the box. waterproofed up to be needed height (tested). Great shoe/boot love em
