These are the most comfortable hiking shoes I've ever owned. This is about my 6th or 7th pair. They are very light, petite, and they fit my foot perfectly.

If you like firm support, this shoe is for you! The arch support is great; it's comfortable right out of the box and requires no break-in time; it has a sturdy sole that grips well; it's light weight and has a generous toe box; it's breathable enough to wear in hot weather; and the best part is that it looks good too. They're super cute with jeans, shorts, or leggings. The shoe runs true to size, however, I went a 1/2 size up to accommodate a thicker sock and foot swelling. I have a hard to fit foot (medium width/low volume) and foot problems. This shoe fit perfectly and the laces allow a custom fit. Give these a try - they are great walking shoes that are wonderful for road, trail, or daily wear.

Love these shoes. Walk 10,000 + steps a day. Sizing is dependable, sturdy, good structure. Got a third pair coming for Christmas. Woohoo!

These made me throw away four pairs of Sketchers! Absolutely the best fit I've ever had in a sports shoe. I'm so impressed. Merrell's only from now on!!

Just when I thought my latest Merrells were the MOST comfortable, you come out with the Siren edge 3. That little incline that runs under the ball of my foot makes them the best yet. I hope you will create more colors so I do not have to duplicate!

I had been wearing the Merrell Moabs for years and recently discovered the Siren model and like it so much better. I walk 5 miles a day on concrete/pavement and find these comfortable right out of the box. They are a far lighter weight than the Moab and they do not look as big/clumsy either. I use them with my orthotics and they work perfectly. Have not yet tried them on mountain trails so do not know how well they will stand up Vs the Moabs.

Perfect comfy lighter weight shoes for walking and hiking. They grip well on rocky surfaces where there is a risk of having your feet go out from under you.

I wear a 7.5 in a street shoe, an 8.5 in an athletic shoe, and an 8 in this shoe. The 7.5 fit, but I wear thick socks and like to allow room for foot swelling after long walks or hikes. Even though I went up a half size, there was no heel slippage. This shoe was comfortable right out of the box, and no break-in period was required. It is lightweight and provides stability, support, and all day comfort. It's got a slim and sleek profile that is attractive. I can wear it with shorts, crops, or jeans, and it looks great with all of them. This is not just a hiking shoe. It's also great for walking, work, and for any activity where you will be on your feet a lot. Wearing this shoe has reduced my leg and back fatigue during 5+ mile walks. They are durable and will hold up exceptionally well because of the Vibram sole. I wear them on pavement as well as trails. They are sturdy enough to protect your feet from toe stubs, roots, and loose rocks. This is an A+ shoe.

Fit was perfect with lots of room in the toe box and good fit around the heel. I liked the style and the more modern laces that make it easy to slip on and off. Good padding and enough room to put in my Dr Scholl's orthotic.

This is a pair of shoes you can put on and then forget to think about your feet on long hard walks. 8.5W fit perfectly as usual. I did change the insoles to something more supportive because I have high arches (hence the 4 stars for comfort). These shoes have plenty of room for your toes to spread out and do their work while you stride out. They have cushioned heels that clamp your foot in place (even with the thick replacement insoles). The laces stay tied but oddly the laces alignment loop on the tongue was sewn down and not useable. Finally I can make long walks without lamenting the fit of my shoes or thinking about why my feet are hurting. Such a joy to walk pain free in these Merrell's.

I’ve never had a new walking shoe that I could wear right out of the box and feel so absolutely comfortable in. Did not need one second of breaking in time. Loved it so much I immediately ordered the same style in a different color. This Merrell shoe is a winner by a landslide!!!!!!

Very comfortable and supportive. I’m wearing a thinner sock with these shoes. I think a half size larger might be better if wearing a thicker sock.

Great shoe if you have foot pain in your heel. The arch support is great and it’s very comfortable. I can actually walk in these shoes without feeling pain from long hours of being on your feet and you can hike the Az desert and not have to worry about getting a thorn go through the bottom of the sole because the cushion on the sole is soft like Vionic. So satisfied that I’m ordering another pair in a different color.

Did a fairly long steady elevation hike recently. I could not have been happier wearing these shoes. First time out and they were awesome. No breaking in. Comfortable and not one blister on either foot. Good for rocky and damp trails. Kept my feet warm and dry. Really designed well and love the style. Highly recommend !

I love these shoes, they fit perfectly and are the exact right choice when you want something between a sneaker and a hiking boot. I wear them every single time I walk. Their only drawback is that they are not waterproof so not good in wet grass.

Shoes are extremely comfortable straight out of the box. I’m normally a 6.5 but go up to a 7 with this shoe just to allow for a thicker sock. This is my third pair of these shoes so that says a lot!

I wanted to replace walking sneakers with a Merrill walking shoe but this one just didn't quite fit what I wanted. The toe box is a little narrower than my hiking Merrill shoes and boots, so that was a problem for me. I need a good amount of room in the toe box for walking 3-5 miles. Also as I wore the shoe around at home, it was hot. I normally wear an 8 M in shoe size, but in this shoe I needed a 9 M. So they do run small.
