These shoes were comfortable from day one. No pressure points. Great sizing...enough for a good sport sock. Great tread in mud and snow; no slipping. I love the heel support - protects from going over on your ankle. Good foot bed support. I have high arches - so far so good!

Bought these last minute for a hiking trip to Big Bend and Davis Mtns. Shoes were comfy and really provided that "grip" I needed for hiking the rocky terrain! Highly recommend!

I use these shoes to walk all over my city (Pittsburgh - lots of hills so the ultra-tread-y soles are great) and do some forest hiking. They hold up, feel supportive, and don't look like grandma's hiking boots! People have asked me if they are running shoes - they have that cool, sporty look to them. They are quite comfortable with the proper socks - I wear Darn Tough cushion micro crews in winter/spring and they feel great. Will transition to ankle-cut hiking socks for summer. As a bonus, I'm a bike commuter and these are great for cycling - the tread on the soles sticks to the pedals nicely but they're nice and light. I would say it took about two weeks of daily walking for them to feel really broken in but they're a go-to now. And no blisters during the breaking in, just a bit of foot and hip soreness while my body adjusted.

Out of the box on my feet the most comfortable new shoes ever, I easily walked 3 miles. Hiking was great. No shoe 'break in' necessary.

I have plantar fasciitis and Merrell's are the best shoes I own. Wear these everywhere- work and play now. I hope to work up to a 5k again!

I just started wearing them, but they feel very sturdy but are not too heavy, so good for day hikes. Very comfy.

I've been using them for bike riding and they grip that the sole has is fenomenal Runs bigger, so glad I read the reviews I'm size 7 I ordered 6.5 so they're just perfect, no break in at all and super comfortable shoes, everybody has their own opinion (for those who didn't like the shoes) I truly love my Merrell my go to shoes for almost everything! This is my second pair and they're just awesome!

I only buy Merrells because they are guaranteed to fit my feet perfectly, every single time. My Bravada's are extremely comfortable and the sole is so heavy duty I have been hiking on packed snow with them. I have owned a lot of hiking shoes, but this one is by far my favorite!

I needed a comfortable hiking shoe and these did the trick. Lightweight, comfortable, and amazing grip. I've recently hiked some steep inclines, covered with leaves, with a dog on leash, and I did not slip once. These are exactly what I was looking for!

This is one of those bigger Merrells, covers your whole foot and i feel like you couldn't knock me over if you tried. Love the thick sole. Added this one to my growing Merrell collection.

I've tried various hiking shoes over the years and I could never find a pair I liked for my casual hiking. I've tried my running shoes on trails and have been disappointed in the lack of grip. These shoes bring together the comfort of my running shoes and excellent grip of hiking boots. I typically wear a wide width so I almost didn't order these but the give in the upper fabric has them fit me perfectly with no pain or break in.

Beautiful, comfortable, shoe with large toe box. Also love that the sole is slip resistant. Get many compliments.

I just purchased these shoes. They were amazingly comfortable right out of the box. Wore for one walk and fell in love. I have bunions and plantar fasciitis. I had problems finding comfortable shoes until I found Merrell, but these are the most comfortable EVER!! I loved the ROVE, but it looks like they are being discontinued. Than goodness for the Bravada!! So comfy and the traction is awesome. Thank you Merrell!

I was super excited to see Merrell had vegan sneakers. These shoes are very comfy for walking and hiking. Happy with my purchase !

I walk 4-5 miles a day and need a stable shoe with a good sole. These are working out well. It took a day or so for the insoles to mold to my foot, and now they fit perfectly and work on all terrain.

Love this shoe. Lightweight, plenty of room in toe box. Comfortable ankle fit. Great traction. Cushion is execellent. Works good with my arch support(1/2 length).

I've had these shoes for a few months and I love them! They've got an amazing grip that's really helped on rocky hikes. My only complaint is the part around the ankle is pretty stiff and has caused me to get blisters if I don't wear really thick socks.

I ordered my normal size and these are a bit bigger than other shoes, but perfect to use medium thickness wool hiking sock with them. They have so much grip - I was practically stuck to the side of the rocks on the trail, which is good since I can trip over nothing when walking. They were comfortable and I had no problems with them. Also, the colors are fun - I would not have ordered the pink/purple/teal ones usually, but the color name is my first name, so I figured I had to try them. They are definitely brighter than I would normally order, but I enjoy them.

I was super thrilled with the comfort of the footbed. Really liked the grip the shoes soles provided. I bought both my regular shoe size and also a half size larger. The regular size would've been fine length wise as it had extra space (length) in the toes so that I wouldn't need to size up to have the added space. I have a high arch and wide foot so the tongue being stitched halfway up didn't allow for me to loosen the shoe so unfortunately these have to be returned.

I have to wear arch supports and these shoes have enough room for the support and insert on top of it. I have a wider foot and the shoe material stretches enough to give a comfortable fit. I like the firmer sole for hiking and walking it is a great hybrid type shoe and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Comfortable right out of the box. First hike came with a downpour, made the rocks slippery..the sole of my hikers gave me the confidence to keep on!

I was looking for a hiking shoe that was breathable, supportive and has good traction (like a good relationship). The fit is perfect, using my 'normal' shoe size. It is very well cushioned and breathable, making a super supported step. I like walking/hiking around, and biking, and these shoes have performed well. I'm super happy with this shoe and can't wait to take them on adventures. (big hikes, backpacking, wetland adventures, fishing)

I like to wear athletic shoes when walking on hard surface roads, but we have sand trails that connect our various streets, so I had to wear hikers if I was going to be using those trails. Before every walk with my huskies, I had to decide if I would be using trails before knowing which shoes to wear. With the Bravada, I get the best of both worlds. Sneakers for fitness walking, but no sand gets in when using the trails.

These shoes fit really well and were mostly comfortable throughout my hike recently. There is a little tightness in the middle of the shoelace area but hopefully over time and use, that stretches out. Really satisfied with the shoe and color.

These shoes are perfect for what I wanted...a daily wear, walking, working, comfortable shoe.
