The fit seemed a bit too snug. They provided little cushion. Not well-constructed. Price seemed reasonable. I guess you get what you pay for. Spend the extra $30-40 and get a more quality shoe.

I bought these for my brother. I know Zappos has a liberal return policy but when you purchase a shoe, it’s just not cool to get a pair that seem to be worn and returned. Not in a New Balance box, sole inserts out, one sneaker tied, the other not. I would have thought Zappos would try and make them look like they are new. I going to return

I've been a 14EE with New Balance for years and never had a problem with that size. They were a little tight out of the box but I figured they would stretch out, which they didn't. Shoe was fine other than it wasn't true to size.

I've been wearing NB for years due to the great fit, however these run much smaller than usual. I thought they would loosen up after a couple of weeks like usual, but these are still small and tight. Also, the toe box, which is normally wide and loose, is very snug and tight. The Fresh Foam cushioning is very thin and does not provide as much cushioning as many less expensive running shoes. They look good, however I was disappointed in these shoes and would not recommend them at the current price.

Trash. Loved the shoes, but 3 weeks into wearing them - the area above the heel has worn through (on both shoes) and the plastic support is grating into my Achilles to the point I can’t wear the shoes because they cause so much pain.

Unfortunately, I had to return these shows. The gift receiver has a very wide foot, and for the first time with over 20 years of purchasing New Balance Shoes; these shoes were too small for him.

I would not purchase these again. These aren't very stable and lack support. The pair I received were also short in length and my big toe was pressed against the front tip. I have returned them on May 8th.

This shoe is not your typical new balance quality. Ordered my husband's size he has worn before in all other new balance shoes he owns and this is by far the worst sizing! Wide is nonexistent!

It's not the fit or size that is the issue. The back of the shoe is too high and firm with not enough padding, rubbing on your Achilles tendon as you hike. It doesn't matter what socks you use.
