Shoes are really comfortable, but after 2 weeks the heels squeak. Every step you take they make noise. I guess you can’t call them sneakers anymore. It’s kind of annoying.

The fit is true to size and there is comfort and support where you want/need it. 4 stars for now as I have only put 50 miles on them yet and I'm not sure how fast the heel will wear down.

This is the best fitting running shoe that I've ever owned, they fit like a glove and have not caused any rub damage to my feet from being too big, no nail damage from being too small. Comfortable and Light. Makes me question why all my other everyday shoes don't fit as well. The only reason I didn't give this shoe all 5 stars, is that the soles wear really fast in my opinion. I run on concrete sidewalks mostly with maybe 20% asphalt roads.

This is my second pair of Fresh Foam Tempo running shoes. I am primarily a street and hard surface runner. The shoes provide an excellent cushion and yet are very lightweight. They are probably my favorites for at least the past 4 years. The only flaw is that the "heel cup" on my first pair is unevenly finished. It's jagged edge cut through the liner and gave me an ugly blister. Electrical tape was an easy and inexpensive fix, but no one wants to use tape to repair the inside of new running shoes. It didn't stop me from ordering a second pair, but ... it is disappointing.

Bought my Norman NB size and it was too tight. Make sure you go up 1/2 size. Once I got the right size, LOVE them. Taken them out on a few easy runs and absolutely perfect for me.

Usually get 860's but though I'd try these , lighter than 860's and very well cushioned, my only issue is lateral stability wasn't as good for me, if you're looking for a lighter shoe these are fine, but if you need more lateral support I would go with 860 or 880,

This is the second time I have been burned by New Balance recommending 1 size larger because the model "runs small". The shoe fits true to size.

I bought them to run in. They take a little work to get on, but they are comfortable and were from the first time I wore them. I must say I do feel the ground when running on pavement,

I recently started wearing New Balance. My first 2 pairs are fuelcell, so the Fresh foam was new to me. I can say for certain i am more of a fan of the fuelcell over this. I am a forefoot striker and the Tempos felt flat with no response. Not entirely bad though because they are super nimble, comfortable, and respond easily to changes of tempo. I would still recommend these but i think heel strikers will love these more!

As others have said they run about 1/2 size short, but they are light weight and comfortable. I walk about six miles a day 5/6 days per week. Great for walking!

Order came on time.
Size was to narrow so returned shoes.
Now waiting for refund conformation to reorder wider size.
Tried to contact business for some questions but all I was ever to get was a recording instead of a real person. NOT very friendly or helpful

Nice shoes for those who prefers medium-to-low cushion. Photo of the shoe seems to exaggerate the midsole height. Another observation, Laces length should be reduced. 1080v10 is better fit for me so far

Fits well, roomy toe box, secure heel. Cushy enough for longer efforts and poppy enough for fast ones. Tempo is well named. Could be lighter...heel is built up enough that the external heavy plastic collar is overkill.

Tight overall, narrow toe box with inadequate cushioning and arch support compared to 840v4 or 1080v8.

Once finding the correct size, they are a decent pair of shoes. These run at least a half size small/short. The width has been consistent.
Regrettably, New Balance has lost consistency maintaining sizing along their lines. This is not only between the various lines, but within the same line too. I have four pairs of shoes; two of the same line different colour (these) and two of different fresh foam line. All have been purchased within past 18 months. Just within this line, sizing between the same model varies enough to make me get two different sizes. Across the whole selection of shoes, now I have three different sizes 10, 10.5, and 11. Widths have maintained consistency, just length is the guessing game now.

This shoe seems to be a high quality product with regard to materials and build quality. The cushioning is great. If the fit they are a great shoe. My biggest complaint is that the size 14D were a bit too narrow in the toe box or perhaps the right shoe turned in a little too quickly on the inside of the toe box. The left shoe was fine. I will stick with the 1080’s as I’ve never had a fit problem with them.
I'd also recommend:
Normally find New Balance 1080s to be a great fit. Nike and ASIC are too narrow in a 14D

These felt way tight when I put them on. I only buy NB and wanted a replacement for my last pair, which were the best Ive ever owned, but sadly, looks like NB doesnt make them anymore so this was the closest I could find. Walked twice in them and couldnt wait to take them off. Felt small, at least half a size, the foam didnt feel as cushy soft as my Sadly, I ordered these in early Nov. and just opened the box on February 7th.

Fit and size were good but they feel flimsy. Not as good as New Balance 517 that I used to have.

Beautiful looking shoe. I really wanted to make this work. I’m a 210 lbs runner who’s done most of my miles in only Nike’s for the last decade.
This shoe is an aggressive shoe with the typical NB forefoot in my personal opinion. I’m a mid foot striker.
The upper feels nice and roomy initially, however, I found I prefer a little more structure. In both sizes 12 and 12.5 my big toe pressed into the side of the upper to the point where at time it wasn’t even over the sole anymore. My nikes peg 34s and Acics do not do this. This I assume is just a personal gait/foot issue for me and wouldn’t assume that for other runners.
Ultimately I felt some foot fatigue and I’m opting for a different shoe and brand.
Sorry New Balance! I want to like so so much!
