Completely unsatisfied with these. I figured being New Balance they would be very comfortable, no insole or arch support.

I’m pretty disappointed with the comfort. I usually have good results with New Balance, but these safety shoes are not working out for me very well. It seems really hard to get the laces to do what I need (either too tight or too loose, constantly having to re-tie them). I wish I could return these for a refund, but they are required at a work site. Bummer.

As a flat footer, these shoes are terrible for me. Instantly while power walking to my worksite, my feet started to chafe. I put new soles inside to see if that will help, but realized I need flat shoes, not shoes with an arch for my flat feet. Shoes that I bought myself from Amazon: New Balance Men's 412 V1 Alloy Toe Industrial Shoe ^^^ These shoes ^^^ Felt way better for my flat feet. Might order these from Zappos so I don't have to spend money.

Fits great, but after a few hours of walking in them they begin to hurt my feet even after weeks of wearing them. The pain increases steadily with each step until the pain is unbearable. No one will read this, that is why I am telling the truth. They hurt my feet badly.

left shoe's construction causes my big toe to jam into the hard-toe part of the shoe, to the right, causing constant and extreme pain for my big toe

Tried them on, sitting at my desk, and, my foot hurt when I took the shoe off, a couple of hours later. Heavy and clunky, and trip hazard for small spaces, walking.

Not a comfortable shoe. Grinded my pinkie toe right where the steel toe started. Soles are crying for help after three hours of standing/walking. Runs slightly big also.

Really tried to make these work but soles were very rough on my feet. Like walking on plywood, then after adding Dr. Scholl's insoles the left shoe rubbed my ankle. Had to return 'em. Hoping the Reebok RB4041 will work.

You would think a $110 pair of shoes would be comfortable if I didn't have to buy these for work I would have never got them.

Didn't work for me. Sent them back. Width was too small for me even though I ordered extra wide. Had a funny turned up feeling on the side of my foot

I have a pair of wide reebok’s and the toe area feels way better than these 4E-extra wides. My little toe is pressing into the end of the comp toe on these new balance shoes. Very uncomfortable.

Fit and size were perfect. Since I have bought New Balance before I knew what to expect on size and fit. But, I have NEVER bought a pair of New Balance that were completely flat with NO arch. Not very happy, and will not wear because of this. Waste of my Amazon benefits.
I'd also recommend:
None from Zappos, since they sell shoes with no arches.

this shoe was so horrible on both of my big toes. I’m a 10.5 and I bought 11 4E. I thought they would break in, but they destroyed my feet. I can’t wear them anymore
