This is our second pair of these great hiking shoes for kids. When my son outgrew his first pair, I went and bought him another. They are comfortable and grippy for all of our adventures.

For my daughter. She loves the fit and color. Will get the next size up when thetime comes :)

My son has wide feet, and these were a perfect solution. He loves these shoes and says they are the most comfortable that he has ever worn.

Bought these shoes for my grandson and he loves them. He loves the color, yellow, and he loves they are "grippy" for when he climbs the rocks on hikes. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Had a pair of lone peaks on a hiking trip and was zipping over rocks. The others in the group struggled to maintain traction. My daughter fell and I knew at that time she needed a pair of lone peaks. We purchased on line and she loves them. She now zips over obstacles without issue

We have been buying "trail running" shoes for our kids since they could walk and our kids have been hiking/trail running throughout rugged terrain of New England and the Alps for years. These trail shoes are hands down the best we have found. Excellent foot/toe box width to promote healthy foot development and biomechanics. Sole provides great traction, stability, and flexibility. In sum: these shoes are the highest quality and most thoughtfully designed children's trail running shoe out there.

I own a pair of Altra's myself and when we were looking for my son we found these. We actually went and hiked Loan Peak! Would recommend to anyone!

Happy Feet, Happy Walker! I trail walk through the woods 4-5 miles per day and have been through many different shoesthese are the best shoes I've ever had! The wide front toe box is amazing for comfort. The shoe is very durablewith previous shoe brands, I routinely had holes somewhere on top within weeks where the mesh separated from the leather trim or just became a hole.my altras have never separated this way! The tread lasts for 300+ miles. The reports about the insole dissolving when the shoes get wet?didn't happen for me. I am a huge altra fan. PS I love the snappy colors (I wear a kids size 4)

Perfect for my 11 year old daughter who is very particular about shoes and prefers to be barefoot at all times! She just started running cross country and so far no blisters or discomfort. She chose to keep the insert, but may remove it as she grows over the summer. Now I'm tempted to get some running shoes for myself!

My 7yo son loved hiking in these and climbing boulder formations in the Rocky Mountains and New Mexico. Comfort, flexibility & light-weight make them PERFECT for kids hiking. My 5yo daughter has been hiking her whole life and I can't wait to get her a pair. Only thing is she's a girly-girl (pink/purple) and will really hate the color way options. Altra PLEASE make a colorway that little girls would like - turquoise/purple, pink etc.

I pulled these directly out of the box and ran the tough mudder classic with no slipping (in lots of mud) and no blisters whatsoever! I highly recommend them for off road running!

I had a lot of problems getting shoes for my son. He is almost 5 years old and every shoe I got in the past for him was too narrow, too big. Altra is our only brand for him.

My nine year old hasn't been able to destroy this shoe. He wires Asics before and they would always wear out after 3 months or so. My son is incredibly hard on his shoes. We payed full price and it was worth every penny! We hike, mountain bike, and wear our Altras daily. I definitely recommend.

Bought these for my son who hates any pair of shoes besides crocs. It is a battle for him to wear tennis shoes and says they are all uncomfortable. After putting these on he said he never wanted to take them off. He even asked if I can buy him another pair in a different color. So take the advice from a kid who hates shoes...Buy these!
