My foot is too wide for most sneakers. This shoe actually fits. I have 10 pairs of Altra's. It will be the only shoe I buy for the rest of my life.

Got this for sore achy feet and it's helped out tremendously.

Awesome shoes. I ran a Spartan beast in them because I like minimal cushion and they felt great.

It is a very comfortable sneaker.

Comfortable shoe. My first pair of Altra and I like them. Based on my experience with this shoe I plan to buy one with additional cushioning in the sole. This pair is kinda minimalist in my opinion.

I bought this shoe for the gym. I do primarily HIIT, cardio and bootcamp. It's the best looking and most comfortable shoe I've owned for this purpose. Lateral movements are somewhat lacking due to the cushioned sole, materials used and somewhat lightweight/under designed sides. Overall though, it's a great shoe and is super comfortable. I also would recommend it for everyday use, casual or otherwise.

Comfy, running, gym, casual.

I use these shoes for walking and jogging around my neighborhood and to the gym. I have used these shoes for all types of gym workouts. I use them for sprints, squats, deadlifts and many other mobility exercises. I like that the shoe is wider in the front. It allows my foot to flex naturally.

I use these shoes for CrossFit and love them! They are very light but I also feel protected. My second pair of Altras and they're only getting better!

This is a great shoe for people who have flat feet, or toe in. It allows for some room in the toe box to move around and has a solid heel cup and pliable upper. A perfect kick around shoe.

I use for walking, etc.

Great for training and plenty of toe space which was my greatest reason for buying these. They are fairly minimalistic and fit like a second layer of skin. Good support for training but I would not want to do light running in them.

I bought these shoes to use while playing pick-up basketball. I needed more cushion on the bottom for basketball compared to other barefoot style shoes and these fit the need. Great shoe!

Nice

I've been looking for a shoe that I can use for functional training and running. I've used them for CrossFit lifts, sprints and mile long runs and they've held up beautifully. I have had any foot pain that I usually had with the Nike Metcons. The white ones I got look great. The one thing I would change is adding an additional shoelace hoke at the top to take them tighter but other than that I LOVE THEM!

This is literally the best shoe I've ever worn for work and exercise. I truly hope that Altra never discontinues it!

Altra ia all I wear for running. Tried this out, awesome. Would like the toe box material have more support. Perhaps the same as the racer. Otherwise, nice shoe.

Fantastic shoe

These shoes are wonderful. I was looking for some nice shoes that I can wear everywhere and everyday. I enjoy running and climbing and parkour. These are super light weight and feel like socks on your feet. They are very comfortable and I think these shoes are now my favorite of all times. If you used to like the old Flynit Nike Free's these are better! Highly recommend to anyone that likes to be light on their feet. Very agile!

I have always struggled to find shoes wide enough that actually fit my feet, specifically in the toe box region of the shoe. I typically buy a half size or full size larger to accommodate the width of my foot and deal with the larger length. This pair of shoes has been the first pair of shoes that I've ever purchased where I can actually buy my actual foot size and my toes aren't crunched in the toe box while simultaneously swimming due to the incorrect length. Love, love, love these shoes and I can't say enough good things about them. Fyi I originally purchased these shoes in "dad white" but upon receipt the upper material appeared like it would get dirty/stain pretty quickly, from the description it looked like the material was more dirt resistant, however I didn't want to chance it with a shoe >$100 so I returned the white ones and got the black. No regrets. I just finished coaching my sons baseball practice and all the time spent on the dirt, no marks or dirt stains whatsoever on the black shoe. Also, I expected dirt to enter the shoe since the upper is made of a breathable material, however after two practices no dirt has been found to enter the shoe. Very happy with this finding, performs above expectations. I general the shoe is super comfortable, width, length just right, and light breathable material makes for a nice light comfy shoe. Definitely recommend.

My second pair of altra shoes and they are just as comfortable as the first pair I bought. Looks and feels great!

These seem to fit slightly tighter than the old solstice, but slightly larger than the old hiit. The sole is good rubber and much more stable than the old solstice but not as stiff and restrictive as the hiits. There's no plastic across the top of the toes like the hiit xt2 to crack and they are comfortable. They're not a designated running shoe but fit the bill perfect for the gym and x fit. Super psyched for this shoe!
