This New Balance 940 shoe has been a staple for me for many years. It's the only shoe I can wear with arthritis being a huge problem for me. It is stabilizing. I love that I found a pair that was much cheaper than I've seen anywhere else. Shipping was very fast! Had them in 3 days.

Recently purchased this sneakers to use in conjunction with some new insoles I ordered. I must say they are comfortable! I bought a regular width and half a size bigger than my measured foot size. I haven't had any issues, no need to break them in if you get the perfect size. Would definitely again.

These shoes have saved my feet and support my back. I hope they're never discontinuedbut, just in caseI now own four pair. One in the car for the unexpected, one set aside for when I walk the dog, one next to my treadmill, and a brand new pair as backup. My podiatrist said I had a Taylor's Bunyan, but I knew the symptoms didn't match his diagnosis. As soon as I bought these shoes which has space for my toes to fully spread apart, the pain went away. Thank you NB for great service and a great product!

I purchased my first pair days prior to the Covid pandemic. Luckily for me the store manager assessed my foot issue and chose this shoe for me. I am still wearing this shoe and sadly over the past year I have purchased many other brands( good Quality) but still go for New Balance. I have flat feet which presents issues walking and later I have had to deal with plantarfacitis! A terrible plaque for people on their feet alot. Anyway I highly recommed "NEW BALANCE" for correct support and comfort to walk without pain. Keep making them, PLEASE!!

These shoes are perfect for me. Size, width and stability all good for me.

As I have a posterior tibial tendon issue, I can only walk if I wear my custom orthotics and really good shoes with a slight heal. These are perfect. I usually wear the 990v4s. These are lighter and offer more color options, but still have the same solid (not foam or gel!) sole, great sidewall construction, plenty of room in the toe box and durability that I expect from NB's high end shoes. Please keep making these kinds of shoes for those of us who now can't wear anything else!

It's so hard to find extra wide women's sneakers. The New Balance 940v4 comes in all kinds of widths and the extra wide is finally big enough in the toe box.

I love this shoe and will continue ordering it til it is no longer made!!

This style 940 fits my foot well. Infortunatly it seems like you are discontinuing this style I usually wear a 61/2 wide but bought a 7 since that is all you had. I will work.

These are my new favorite walking shoe. Very comfortable from the first moment I wore them. The cushioning and comfort is the best.

I love this shoe recommended by my podiatrist for plantar fasciitis. I have both colors would like it in white and beige.

This is the second pair of 940's I've bought. The toe box is wide enough for my feet, super comfy. I work as a nurse and these are great!

Because I have bunions, I love these wide shoes. They have a roomy toe box that makes my long daily walks comfortable.

Love the comfort and stability of this shoe. I wear them daily during all activities. I'm so glad they come in extra wide.

The fit is great. I love how light they are. A lot of shoes cause the balls of my feet to hurt during workouts. These shoes do not. My feet never hurt after my workouts! Great job New Balance!

I have super flat feet and severe over pronation. This is my third pair of these because they're the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I can stand for longer, walk further, and my ankles, knees, and hips, are all happy. I replace the insoles with Spenco orthotics, but that's almost not necessary in my case. I need all the help I can get though. As for their style, they're one of the few women's NB that don't have some flash of color to signify "female", like lavender or pink. I wish NB offered more options in women's size with simple, gender neutral colors. The lines are simple too, no crazy attempts to reinvent what an athletic style shoe should look like. The soles don't look like a zig zaggy squished bag of marshmallows. As for their construction, their lifespan has been absolutely acceptable, or impressive, I should say. My first two pairs never fell apart in any way. I don't know if it's actually recommended, but I wash them in the washing machine all the time (cold), and dry with a small electric fan. They come out looking almost new. Shoe prices are getting out of hand IMO, so I was happy to get these on sale for $109. I really hope NB offers more shoes in the future with the qualities I've mentioned, because my options have been very limited. I do sincerely thank them for these, and would buy a fourth pair down the road if they're still around.

These are very comfortable and supportive. I would say they run slightly narrow, which works for me. The material has some give and doesn't irritate my bunions. I like them so much, I bought in two colors!

They're comfortable and definitely help with plantar fasciitis. I wish they had more color options so I can get more pairs in more colors to match more of my clothing. Especially at the price they should give you unlimited color choices

I have worn this particular shoe for several years. It is wonderful. I have over pronation and also have insoles. It gives very good support and room for insoles. Yes I recommend it highly.
