I wish I could give a positive review but can’t. The shoe seems to have very little inside padding. I put extra padding inside. The right shoe has a problem at the ball of my foot….almost like a defect of some kind. After 30 minutes my foot hurts. If I were using these shoes for running I would send them back. But…I am only doing fast walking. I live in a small town and returning items is a pain. So I will reluctantly keep them. I have always been happy with Zappos in the past.

I wore this shoe for less than a year and got a tear in the right toe area. Not what I was expecting from New Balance :(

I have this shoe at home in the same size. This is definitely a size smaller than the same shoe.

The shoe felt clunky and too high cut.

The shoes were not very attractive. The sole was stiff. Not right for me.

I measured these shoes compared to the 840-4 I have been wearing and they are wider than the 840-4's. The 840-4's are wider than the first gray ones I purchased several years ago. These may be subtle changes but they make my wide small foot slide side to side.

The toe box is too big in these shoes, they scrunch up and feel big when walking. They also are not narrow enough.

These shoes were way too wide through the toe section; very loose on my foot. The heel area was also very wide and slipped up and down on my heel. I did not care for how high the heel looked compared to most other walking/running shoes. I thought they looked and felt "klunky" and awkward. I usually love New Balance shoes and think they are comfortable and fit well. Have worn them for years. These were just an exception.

I have worn narrow New. Alan r shoes for years. This was labeled narrow but it fit like a medium width shoe. Had to return it.

I ordered a narrow width, and that's what I received, but they are still too wide.

Unfortunately this shoe did not fit in the way that my previous New Balance shoes did, so I must return them.

Too wide or big in the front half only. Maybe both too wide and too big. But from the arch to the heel, they fit well. So - strange fit.

No problems with fit or size. What I have problems with is the top, over the toes. With my last two pairs, the top has failed over my big toe within about 6 months. The top wears and tears and leaves a small hole which allows the sock to show through and looks like s@%t. This never on my previous 940's before they changed the top. The top now looks cheap.

Not sure why but I wore these shoes for approx. 1/2 day and my one foot hurts very much, the shoes felt flat!

Did not like the heel. It was too low.

Unfortunately these are being returned they run small my toe was hitting the front and it’s got this obnoxious slope and the big toe rubs on the shoe. I had high hopes based on the reviews

Ran 1/2 size small

This sneaker was very hot. Also the top sort of pushed into the top of my foot and felt like it was cutting off circulation.

B width was ok but just too short.

Cheaply made. Not made in the USA.
