I have to buy this specific style for my daughter who has over pronation really bad and this shoe gives her so much comfort!!! Only thing I wish they had a variety of colors because she only can wear these sneakers but quality and fit and comfort are everything

These fit true to size and are comfortable for walking.

Very good support, roomy, but not too roomy, toe box.

They are more attractive - less bulky, a bit lighter - than the 990's but provide excellent support.

I wear my shoes whenever I am taking a healthy walk!

I live in New Balance shoes! I choose the support model for over pronating in a wide size. With prescribed orthotics they help me recover from plantar fasciitis, don't irritate the site where a neuroma was surgically removed, leaves room for arthritic big toe, and is a big part of keeping me active and aligned to manage degenerative disc disease and stave off additional fusions. I am 58 years old, lost 22 lb in the last 8 months, and replace the shoes every six months when the cushion degrades. I think lumbar surgery can be put off for many years, and New Balance shoes are a huge part of my success.

I walk several miles a day and have plantar fasciitis so my feet were giving me a lot of trouble. I found these shoes to be totally comfortable when I insert my special foot supports, still room for my feet so they don't feel crowded into the shoes. I bought a second pair as I wanted to make sure I had an extra if you changed the model.

I bought this shoe to get a quality show in a wider width. I have been recently diagnosed with Morton's Neuroma and am looking for relief. I am using these shoes as an indoor exercise shoe and they are very comfortable and supportive so far. I do have some concerns about the strength and durability of the material used in the uppers. It seems a bit fragile. Time will tell.

Usually walk at least 2 miles on my daily walk. Have orthotics and after 5 days they are still "squeaky". This is a bit bothersome. The fit is good and I love the color with the white soles and gunmetal black.

This shoe is "out of the box" comfortable, fits perfect, true to size and has perfect arch support for plantar faciitis. I added my custom orthotics.

This shoe is a perfect width in the narrow (2A). Unfortunately, black is the only color offered in narrow. Those of us who need narrow shoes would love more color and style selection. Shoe is comfortable and feels like good support so far. It's not super cushy feeling, but supportive. If you're looking for softness, this is not the shoe, if you want true stability, this seems to have it so far. Only worn about 3 times, but so far so good. Great fit, though. It's narrow perfectly done.
