Very comfortable running shoe. Great support. Love the style and color. The only thing I don't like is the shoe tongue goes to the sides sometimes but overall I love it!

bought for wife who has stability and balance issues, this shoe helps her with both and she loves them, she uses them to walk only due to her health which isnt a lot, with this shoe she is able to get some exercise at least. we are both 60+ wife says they feel really good on her feet. i think they run about a half size small but she likes the snugness.

I'm a pronator and have a garbage right knee. These shoes are great for my daily 5 mile walks. Very stable with good cushioning for longer workout time.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE that NB comes in a narrow width!

I use thus shoe doe everyday wear and exercise walking. I find it really supports my ankle. I have to choose the XX-Wide. I just wish there were more color. Options in the XX-Wide but I am thankful the widest possible is a choice.

I've been wearing 860s for almost 15 years, but the new version (10) has very little padding & ended up giving me blisters. Took them back after only 3 runs & the staff switched me over to the 940s & I'll never go back! I have almost completely flat feet & way over pronate. These shoes are like running on clouds. My flat feet & my 40+ year old knees thank you!!!!

I like the look and feel of the shoe. Wearing a size 13 I don't always get a choice of softer colors. I love the colors, the size feels true to size.
They feel comfortable but have not been put to the test of a long walk.

Doing a lot walking now that I am working from home. Needed a good walking shoe that solved for over-pronation due to flat feet, sensitive metatarsals, and heel striking. I really like these and they are very comfortable. I normally wear a 6.5 (without arch supports) but I purchased a 7.0 to fit my arch supports. I bought the grey/black because I didn't want a shoe that would get dirty easily. I wish there were other medium to darker color options with a lighter new balance logo on the side (white, light grey, or silver). Definitely keeping!

My New Balance 940's are exactly right for me. Comfortable from the first step. They make me feel ready for a long walk.
The best part of buying from New Balance is the staff. I described my feet and he described the perfect shoe. Talk about knowledgeable! They know the stock completely. All of this adds up to success. Thank you, New Balance!

First, the toe box is wonderfully spacious, but then the whole shoe is sized to a T. I have a wide foot and the the first time I put the shoes on, my feet said yes! I do have the v3s also, and I love them, but I love the v4s more.

Very happy with my new NB 940v4 Running Shoes, which I will actually use for walking. I bought these to replace my old #1340 shoes after a lot of research. My usual size 9.5 in New Balance fit fine. I chose this style because it has the Tbeam for pronation control, as well as regular tie laces. They are listed as "stability" shoes on the New Balance website. Since I had used the New Balance insoles #NB1200 in my old shoes, I have found that I can use the Aetrex #L2300W insole, size 10, for the same effect. Without the Aetrex Memory Foam insoles, the 940v4 was not as cushioned or quite as supportive as I would have preferred and was a bit loose. With my old shoes I had always sacrificed style for comfort. Now I think I finally have both. The colors/style of these shoes are quite attractive and stylish - much more than my old shoes, so I purchased both the Summer Fog and the Black.

I like Newbalance Shoes because they carry the width I need and also their shoes styles are great especially for women. Newbalance also makes shoes with support for pronators and supinators this is also very important feature for me.

These are lightweight, supportive, and comfortable. You couldn't ask for more. I needed a wide width and it was spot on. It was the first time I ordered a wide width shoe online because " wide" is so subjective depending on the brand of shoe, even in a store. You won't be disappointed.
