I bought this to replace my past 860 and 1260 shoes. They are comfortable and one of the few shoes I can get in a 2A.

I love me new shoes! I have been buying New Balance for years. Even when I have tried others, I continue to come back to New Balance. Comfortable and supportive shoe.

I walk 30-35 miles each week. These shoes required no break in. They were very comfortable from the minute I put them on. I would definitely recommend them and buy this style again.

I have been doing quite a bit of walking during covid. Ordered these online without trying on. Worked out well. At first they felt a little clunky but now that I am use to them, feels great. They have a wide toe box, good for me with Morton neuroma. They are sturdy on the feet and I feel less wobbly. Happy with my purchase.

I ordered two pairs of the same shoe inadvertently I returned one pair and I still haven't been credited for the return shoes.

These sneakers are very cushiony but still provide stability. I have plantar fasciitis, and I normally buy the 990s, but given the limited color choices now, I decided to try the 940s. They are much softer inside and better looking. I highly recommend them!

I have been buying these high stability running shoes for a decade or more. I run over 1000 miles per year and buy at least 2 pairs per year to rotate weekly. I am an over-pronator with very high arches, so I am prone to getting blisters, sores, and joint pain--but not since I found these shoes! The best thing about this version is how lightweight the material is. The trade off with high stability shoes is that they are a bit heavy/clunky rather than lightweight. When there's a new version, there is always cause for worry, but this seems to be the best upgrade ever! As long as the thinness of the outer shell is durable, then these will be my favorite pair of running shoe to date!

I have been wearing new balance shoes for 17 years. I can say this shoe is a great fit. Comfortable to wear all day long.

I use these shoes for walking. I walk a mile or more every day.

I Love these shoes. I have been running in them for a week and my feet feel great. I am a definite pronator and have had no pain with these shoes. I haven't even changed the insoles!

This is a very lightweight sneaker which fits great and feel wonderful on the feet. I do a run walk and they are the perfect pair of sneakers

Haven't bought NB in a while, In the past they were comfortable, but a bit loose. I bought a 1/2size and these are perfect. Love the wide width, and the great support!

They are light weight and still give me great support! I always buy New Balance because they carry 2A shoes and have good quality!

If you need the sl2 for , this is a wonderful choice .

I have run in 940s for several years. This is the first pair of V4's I've owned (actually bought two pair). They fit perfectly. There was no need to break them in. I just put them on and went for a run.They provide the support and stability I need. The shoe has been revamped and is slightly wider across the base of the toes and I like that. The mesh fabric is very light though not quite as resistant to water as the old style. Overall, though I like this shoe and will buy it again.

Great support for the work surface, and up & down trips through the stairwell.

This shoe fits my long and narrow foot perfectly, with solid cushioning on the heel and the ball. I am glad I ordered directly from NB, as other online sources do not carry all sizes and styles. I ordered two different shoes and have decided to keep both!

I have been wearing the 940s for two years now they are fabulous. I wear them, own multiple pairs in different colors, at work and on the weekends. The design on the sole in the heal area is terrific for me because it keeps the foot and leg aligned. They are true to size for me, 9.5M, just the right weight, and feel comfortable in all temperatures. Perfect sneaker for my short walks and long city walks. I just wish NB would add new colors for the 940v4 line!
