Tried them because they come on the SL2 last, significantly narrower than the 1540v3 & also about a 1/2 size shorter in length. Had to return them, I will either have to wait for the next run of 1540's or try the Brooks Beast.

Not as much cushion as I would have expected.. Runs one-hall to a full size smaller than stated.

These were my favorites. The toe box is wide and roomy and overall they are comfortable. But the cushioning is much harder than previous iterations. I guess they found some cheaper material to use. They also are a little shorter than previous versions.

I wear these shoes on my daily 5 mile jog. I have worn them for 30 days. They are very comfortable and the break-in period was uneventful - no blisters or annoying rubs. My only concern is the rate at which the soles of the shoes are wearing. After only 30 days of 5-mile/day use, the sole under the ball of my feet on toe area is showing considerable wear. Longevity of these shoes is questionable.

It is a comfortable shoe, but heavier than i thought it would be for a running shoe. I thought running shoes were supposed to be lighter.

Very nice shoe size runs big wish the had more colors to choose from sending this back for different size

Waiting for a refund!! I bought 2 two pair of shoes and returned one, and bought another!!!

This is my second pare of 940's but the squeaking in the left shoe is annoying. They feel good on my feet but are noisy.

Outer heel wore down immediately, to the point of me toppling over when I walk. @NB PLEASE FIX THIS DESIGN FLAW.

I've had two pairs of these and they both wore out the same. Outer sides wore down to a point I was rolling my ankles. My big toe also poked through the mesh on both pairs. They are very comfortable. For what Im.paying, they shouldn't wear down as easily.

the #940v4 appears to be a well made shoe. my problem with it is that it is narrow a=in the toe space. area should be wider . had to return.

Tried them on as soon as they arrived (shipping was slow). I really like the sturdy support of these compared to my 840s, but they run small. My toe hits the front unlike in my 840s that are the exact same size....So sadly I have to return them.

I wear 13B and these shoes seems to run small. My toes touch the end. So, I can't really give them much of a review since I sent them back.

Comfortable, good materials. Footbed is some what stiff. May brake in though.
