It is well made and and provides good support on dirt and on streets.

Very comfortable and light. A good all purpose running shoe.

I have used the 940 for quite a few years and reorder because it meets my needs for cushion, wide toe, support for foot that turns inward. BUT please bring back a leather patch over the toes. I seem to break thru with big toe on one foot every time. Doesn't look good and seems to allow dirt in. I order a men's style for the width. Overall very happy with this shoe.

As usual, these New Balance shoes look & feel great. I'd not tried this particular model before, but was very satisified upon arrival and trying out, now over several miles of jogging.

Have a hard time finding shoes that don't make my feet hurt. These shoes are great, no more hurt feet.

I use them at work. Good stability and support. They are good on uneven floors.

They look great but they aren't as comfortable as the 993's. I am diabetic and need really comfortable shoes and these just don't cut for me.

Good shoe with heel 12mm higher than forefoot. Great stability.

I got these shoes at the direction of my foot doctor. I was having severe pain in my left foot when I walked; I was even limping it was so bad. He told me it was because I was over-pronating. He took my favorite NB 574's and twisted them to show me how easily they would bend and give me no side support. He said I needed a stiffer shoe that would retain its shape. He recommended the New Balance 940. They work! I still have some pain of course but from the first time I put them on I could feel the added support. They definitely do NOT bend! Frankly I liked the look and feel of the 574's much better. More comfortable and more stylish. I have a couple of pairs of them. I guess I won't be able to wear them anymore. Bummer. But it's a trade-off. I'm sure they'll get more comfy as I wear them in, and I'd much rather be able to walk again in comfort than to look cool....

Great fit. Was looking for a sneaker with some cushion . I've found it.

I initially ordered a larger size because my size was not available, and ended up keeping them for over a year. I say it is a solid shoe. A little more pricey than the other running shoes, but feel that the quality and durability make it pretty worthwhile.

These shoes fit a little snug at first. They have a cool design but they work for walking. May have to look into more colors.

This shoe is light-weight but sturdy. I like the comfort and grip it gives me on every step!

working out at gym and extensive walking.. the longer I wear them the more comfortable they are. i am a 8 C thest fit just right

However, I have never quite found the one shoe that compares with the comfort for walking, golf, etc which was your 1340 v2/N2. As u can see the cushioning of the 940v4 is close.
