This is my fifth pair of New Balance 940v4. They are comfortable and support my arches. Zappos had them for an incredible price! Thank you Zappos!

It's a new size for me but so far the size feels good; have to wear them a little longer to really evaluate. The last pair I ordered had plastic thread on the tongue & I had to remove the NB label to make them wearable. Thankfully, the 2 pairs I just purchased no longer have that.

The model New Balance 940 is touted as the pronator's shoe. I have flat, slender feet, which pronate on walking. I have a second pair of these shoes which encouraged me to get another identical pair before they were discontinued. I ordered the same size, and the shoes were slightly shorter than my existing pair, but I am sure they will stretch somewhat and be a good, supportive fit. The shoes are very comfortable, just very slightly short.

Shoes fit great. They did require a short break in period. Felt a little stiff out of the box, by the second day they were fine. I would recommend these

Just starting to wear them in the house to see if they will work for ever day wear.

These are the best shoes, for me, I can find now. New Balance's 840s, with their cushioning, were a much better shoe for me. 840s are no longer available in my size.

Unfortunately the shoe box was labeled size 15 but the shoe was labeled 16, no it did not fit. returning them

Fits well. I have feet which probate a d this model is one of the better versions. I guess that won't last more than 4 to 6 months, typical for new balance. Their longevity has gotten shorter and shorter.

I have been wearing New Balance for 14+ years and as they make changes to styles or replace styles, I have been able to find what fits best. However, I have always worn a 12 4E. I have owned the 940 V1 & V3 and both fit very well. I purchased the V4 in a 12 4E and they are almost a full size too long and way too wide. I am going to try a smaller size.

NOt quite the right fit for me.

Length true to size. Toe box seems a little wide for a regular width but not much. Could just be the material used for the upper that makes it feel that way since it stretches. Overall a nice looking comfortable shoe. Lots of support in the arch. I’ll update on how they wear after some use.

Fit well and seem very comfortable on initial try on. Just received today, so haven’t been worn long. Seem very supportive in the arch and footbed. Will revise review after I’ve worn for a while. So far, ??.

Shoe runs about a 1/2 size smaller. I normally wear a size 10 EEEE and that is what I ordered. Toes were rubbing so I had to send back and order a size 10.5 EEEE, a much better fit. Style is fantastic and shoe is comfortable.

This is a great shoe with good support. And we love the color. I bought them for my son who normally always wears a size 12. Size 12 in this shoe was too large, so we exchanged for size 11.5 which were still a bit big. I think we could have gone down another half size for the best fit. But my son was impatient and loved the shoes so much he was out running and walking in them before I was aware.

A more narrow sneaker, I have to order the Wide, and I am usually a Medium. The outer sole is a bit marshmallow-looking. It's basically a stylish sneaker on an orthopedic sole. If you are looking for some cool kicks, these aren't them.

I like these shoes a lot. They are more contemporary and less clunky looking than my 990s. I needed to order a half size down since these shoes run large.
