I am going to request a refund and hopefully I can get that because the heel engineering is not good and gave me blisters.

I wore them twice. The first went well but my feet were cut the second time.

Back strap broke after a limited amount of wear. Not as cushioned as bondis or other models.

Comfortable and fit good, but only wore them as my "in the house" shoe and after just less then a year the back heel strap started to come apart and now is just a few frayed strands. Other stitching around the shoes started to come apart. And mind you I just wore them around in the house. No hiking or river work.

I have worn Keens for years and when my last pair wore out after years of use, I thought I would give these a try. I had them a week and while using one foot to hold down the sandal to take off the back strap ripped. Not very strong. The other foot follows suit wit same ripped area. They are hot. I liked them except for the ease of tearing.

As someone else mentioned, the loop /strap on the heal that you use to pull the shoes on, ripped off. Bad stitching. I only wore them 3 times. I am exchanging. However, I am doubting the quality of these loop stitches since I am not the only one who had this problem. At this price, I expect higher quality. The finger loops are needed since the shoes are a tight fit to get on. Once on, they fit great. There isn't an opportunity to explain this in the form when exchanging the problem. I explained in chat with no indication this would be reported for improvement. This is not a very good way to improve the product and I don't see this issue changing.

I'm a huge Hoka fan. I've bought two pair of their running shoes every one of the past 6 years. In addition, I have two previous (4 yr old) versions of their sport sandal, absolutely love them, they were a durable synthetic material , indestructible and super comfortable. So I was excited to see they came back to market with Hopara.. Sadly the Hopara is all plastic, made my feet sweat after only a few minutes. Fortunately they were good about allowing a quick and easy refund. I still love my Hoka running shoes, and will continue with them. Hoping for an improved sport sandal in the future.

The back fell apart all too quickly, especially for Hoka. I love the brand and have worn their hikers and sneakers for years. The sandals were comfortable- right up to the moment the back strap ripped apart on both during a two-week trip. this led to more blisters than I have ever had from shoes. In fact, I don't think I have ever had more than one blister, and that was a winter through-hike in new boots. Thinking about cutting the backs off and making them slip-ons, just to try to save my investment since they were only a few months old. Experienced hiker/traveler

I have always used keen shoe/sandle. I thought these looked cool and hoka seems popular these days. The right foot had sharp rubber in it that was killing my feet. Almost as if they didn't finish making the shoe. The left foot felt pretty good so it made me think there is potential. Awful quality control, I bought a pair of Hoka sneakers as well that I was not very impressed with, good enough to keep though.

Not as comfortable as your running shoes. They look to muck like Keens.

The adjustable "string" was too short to allow me to put sandals on and off. My wife has a pair where the string was 2 or 3 times as long.

I have a pair of Arahi 6 shoes and love themhowever these did not provide enough comfort for me. They have a decent supportbetter than any other brand of sports sandal I purchased however they aren't without flaws. I wore them for 1 day and had multiple blisters by the end of the day. If I could return I wouldeven for a creditas I will likely never wear them againmaking them an expensive mistake.

I was expecting a good walking sandal. Feels like an inexpensive water shoe. I’m a huge Hoka fan. But quality and comfort just not here in these sandals

I have had these shoes for two years, only wearing them in the summer. One has worn well, the other one, the hard plastic on the back heel has worn through the fabric, such that I can not wear without getting a blister. These shoes are comfortable, but I wouldn't get again.

Sorry HOKAI am a huge fan and have three pair of your running/walking shoe. This shoe just doesn't feel like HOKA's. Stiff inner footbox/toe bed. Not real comfortable to walk in for extended periods. Like I've said, I love HOKA, but this new model needs some serious tweaking.

It's a nice shoe, but my husband has a bad hip and these were difficult for him to slip his foot out of without hurting his hip. He loves the Hoka Ora Recovery 2 (it's like a slip on sneaker but Zappos doesn't carry that style). Also, the Hopara style was a bit heavy.

Really nice looking shoe. Length and width were good, but if you have a low arch it might be uncomfortable. It was for me. Wore it indoors for several days and never did get use to it. Sorry to return but had no other choice.

The shoe just isn't comfy. It doesn't go on easy, which I expect out of a sandal. I loved the regular shoes I got from Hoka, and hoped the sandals would be the same way. They are not.

These ended up going back. Bought them for the cushion which they had but they were a bit loose in the heel and also very clunky and heavy.

Excessive arch support. I have 4 pairs of Hoka trail shoes which are wonderfu. First time I wore these I got blisters on my arches.
