Love the shoes. I've been wearing for a month at work and they are the most comfortable boots I've ever had. The sole is coming a part s little. Hopefully that doesn't keep up. Love them still

I'm using the kaha got TeX as a EMT boots. It's very comfortable, easy steps all day, and no pain in my feet. I'm very sensitive to plantar fasciatis and since when I started using hoka (first pair was the challenger) I never had any pain anymore. I also like the fact that the colour phantom make it very professional with the uniform

I really like the shoe, but as previously stated in the last review, lacing is a pain, and the shoe is too wide for my size 11 D foot.

I think that the lacing system is a bit problematic, and the shoe itself is a bit bit wide for a size 11D.

Hoka hit all of the intrinsic features that make a boot great with this one -- nearly perfect in every way! However, many folks with slightly wider feet just can't make these work, including myself. I have been wearing the Gaviota 2 (in a 10.5 -- had to size down to the 10 for the Kaha) in a wide the last several years, and I've tried almost all of the Hoka shoes and boots and can never fit into their regular widths. Simply put, some foot shapes just won't be able to wear regular widths even if every other feature of a shoe is perfect. Because the Kaha is so good in so many ways, making a wide version of this boot would serve lots of people. Please, Hoka: make a wide version of the Kaha! If there's one of your shoes that should be made in a wide, this is it!

These boots are very comfortable and provide adequate stiffness, but the plastic quick-lace eyelets in the top two positions are cheap and don't cinch on the laces as well as the metal quick-lace eyelets found on most boots in this price range. Moreover, the routing of the laces through loose nylon straps at the top of the tongue does not keep the tongue up.

The cushion of this boot is amazing but I am going to have to return them. I really wanted this boot to work for me but, in the end, for this price point, it needs to be perfect. If Hoka offered this in wide sizes I would never buy another boot again. Come on Hoka, show us wide footed guys some love!

Bought a pair of these Hoka Kaha boots due to the good reviews. I was needing a more comfortable and secure boot to use while doing fast walking and jogging on a local trail system. While these do provide very good traction with the lugged soles, they do not provide as much comfort as I'd hoped for while jogging. I am hoping that they will soften up a little more after break-in period, but don't consider them to be as comfortable as some of my other Hoka shoes.

I picked this up to start winter hiking. Wore them around work for a day to break them in before hiking in them just to make sure. For me, they felt great out of the box. Great traction on packed snow inclines. I am looking forward to using these boots for snowshoeing too.

This is the most comfortable hiking boot ive ever worn. I brought these with me to the Grand Canyon and other trecks around Arizona and they were fantastic for gravel and tough terrain.
That being said, although the boots are comfortable, they lack the stiffness around the ankle area required for safe descent from steep hills and mountaineous terrain. Wouldnt recommend for rock climbing or intense hiking across treacherous mountain terrain. But man are they comfortable, breathable and they look like YEEZYs

I wear custom orthotics and this boot provides enough room to allow for compatibility. Plush cushioning feels great. I really like the extra holes to allow for lacing options. Light weight to wear.

Great boot, but I'd like to see more breathable material like my old pair of TOR.

These shoes are So comfortable. I would say perhaps the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, especially after adding my own personal inserts. Love the insulation and waterproofness on this light-weight sneakery boot. My only concern is that some of the stitching on the shoes is starting come out after only wearing the shoes for about 2 weeks. Its pretty minor, but it makes me concerned about their durability.

I would give the Hoka One five stars because they are the best boots I have ever had. However the price is such and the description "plush" indicates a special comfort level. I had to add insoles to achieve the level of comfort I need for my less than perfect feet. Still, I would buy again. I've done some hiking in the boots but wear them almost every day around my hilly yard.

I very much like these boots they are incredibly comfortable directly out of the Box I wear a size 11 and these shoes fit almost perfectly. And 11 wide might fit me slightly better but I have no complaints about the current fit. The traction is amazing for scrambling up rough trails or rocky areas.
I have not been able to test the waterproofness of the goretex yet.
My only complaint is the way the top of the laces, the tongue and loop, and the lace hooks interact. I haven't been able to find the perfect way to lace them either you have to pass the laces through the loop twice to tie and untie them to hook them in the eye hooks to keep the tie from sliding up off of the tongue or in my case I only used the bottom set of I hooks and pass them through the tongue once. It's a minor gripe really because they tie snugly anyway I've tried. It's just a little annoying.

Very nice boot. Not as good as the Tor Ultra, which is the best boot I've ever owned. Wanted to get the Tor Ultra, but it never seems to be in stock. This, plus the reviews tell me that it's popular so I don't understand why they are not manufactured to keep up with demand. Please bring the Tor Ultra back

Walking. I have orthotics, and I need shoes with a mid-top or better. The Kaha fit the bill, high-top. Very stable shoe with comfort and great traction. It took about a week to break the shoes in. I would buy them again; however, I am looking for a mid-top shoes with the same fit.
Detractor: Walking on dirt, the shoes really shoe the dust. Would like to see similar shoes made with different types of materials, and in a mid-top. Hoka is now my shoe of choice.
