Well, to be very candid...I thought the(Kaha) boots were extremely uncomfortable. I sent them back after one day of wearing them. I'm a UPS driver and walk all day. I purchased the boots because they are made with Gore-Tex and I need a waterproof boot. I own a pair of (Tor Ultra Hi 2) boots and though they're very comfortable(lightweight, flexible, warm, and with a soft, squishy/plush sole) they are NOT waterproof. Water comes in from the top of the toe area. The boots are about a year old, but I remember in the first few weeks they leaked. Maybe my pair were an anomaly? But, other reviews also mention that the Tor isn't waterproof. I wanted to try a different technology, so that's why I bought the Kaha GTX. The footbed itself is comfortable. The shock absorption in the worst! Like an old school Vibram boot lug sole, it's that hard! Feels like no cushion at all. Ok, a little in the forefoot. But the heel strike is wear comfort counts. The description reads, " plush". The Hoka Bondi 6 are a truly "walk on air" plush. The best I've ever worn. Better than Brooks and Saucony. Same material, just thicker. The Tor boot is plush, but not like the Bondi 6. If Bondi 6 is a 10, then the Tor boot is about a 6/7. The Kaha, 0/1. Seriously, has anyone on the Hoka team worn these things? I mean these actually hurt my heels with every step. I guess the other part of the discomfort is the heel/toe drop? Kaha has a 6mm drop, and the Tor/Bondi both have a 4mm heel-toe drop. The reason I bought/buy Hoka products is for the shock/impact absorption on my joints. Please fix this boot. OR BETTER YET PLEASE MAKE THE TOR ULTRA HI 2 WITH GORE-TEX AND THE BONDI 6 SOLE, THANKS! :)
