I needed a comfortable low boot for rough field terrain, & this more than met my expectations! Plus they look good!

I've always hated hiking books because they leave marks and feel so uncomfortable. So I usually wear tennis shoes to hike. But no ankle support and they get wet if you step in a puddle. So I read the reviews and decided to treat myself. These are fabulously comfy and can be worn for hours without any painful indicators left behind.

I've put over 200 miles on these on mountain trails which are full of rocks and they are amazingly great! Comfort & stability not only on rocky trails, but also on smooth trails. I have the older version which doesn't have Gore-Tex, so now that they have Gore-Tex, I guess I've got to up my hiking so I can wear these out & justify buying a new Gore-Tex pair! My other boots are Lowa Renegade's which are good as well, but not as comfortable.

This is my go-to hiking shoe. Much greater stability than an earlier model. The leather is a factor in adding stability but I found it comfortable and that it breathed well; never overheated. Comfortable from day one. I loved the 30-day trial because I initially bought an 11, my usual size, but after hiking with it for 15 - 20 days, I wanted to see if a 10.5 was a better fit. I ordered it and it was. Returned the 11's and very promptly got my refund from Hoka! Delighted with this trial program!

I have been a professional mountain guide and outdoor educator most of my life. This is the best light weight / high mileage boot I have ever used. I recently trained in this boot for my walkofonenation and found it to be very stable, extremely comfortable after linking 20+ miles per day after 22 days. After walking from OK City to New Mexico I am still putting on this boot first- excellent boot!

I've finally found the perfect hiking boots -- lightweight, super-comfortable, 100% waterproof, breathable in summer, warm in winter, fantastic traction, and stylish to boot (pun intended!). I've worn them in mud, snow, water, and on blacktop, and they perform like you'd hope everywhere. They appear very well-constructed, so I expect them to last.

I went hiking in Hawaii and LOVED my Hoka's. I have a metatarsal injury and believe that these are the only shoes I'd feel comfortable hiking in right now. Also, when everyone else was slipping on wet trails, my Hoka's were gripping like crazy!

This was strictly meant to be my hiking boot of choice... turns out they're too comfortable to take off. I use them for everything, from a drive to the brewery to a 10 mile hike. Vibram tread is great on slick and/or muddy trails. The lugs are spaced to give you grip without carrying away the earth beneath you. The materials used are top shelf. I've had mine since November and they're in pristine condition. I added some waterproofing this month (January) to ensure the wet winters in the western PA wouldn't put a hurt on these... but I've never had an issue with wet feet. Overall, I'm stoked on this boot and hole Hoka keeps this model in rotation (with more earth tone color choices).

General knocking around. Far too lazy for hiking. Wanted something waterproof for transferring between car and barrooms on rainy days.

I have severe over pronation and the Kaha GTX provides me with the perfect amount of support and cushion to live an active life. This is my second pair of these, hands down the best shoes I have ever had.

I'm in law enforcement and I was looking for something better that what I always get I use hoka for my running shoes, and they are the best I have ever wear. I'm glad I bought these boots. They are now my new favorite shoes for my work. Hope they don't change anything at the factory so I keep buying them.

I needed a hiking boot with good support, traction and would keep my feet warm and dry in MN winters. I've had the boots for a couple of months and they are perfect for me! I've been out trudging through 5 inches of snow in sub zero temps with no issues. I have a pair of running shoes that I wear for walking in the summer, so had high hopes for the boots for my winter walks. In addition to warm and dry, I feel like I'm walking on clouds - a big plus for my old bones.

Finally got a Hoka shoe that feels like their original cushiony ones. This boot is my favorite Hoka shoe all time. Is it possible to get a low top version? It is soft when you step just like the first few models of shoes they put out and for some reason got away from, extremely light weight and water resistant. I'll just keep buying them as long as they don't change!
