All size 9s are not equal. Speed Goat are very tight compared to other styles of Hoka shoes.

Excellent! I have several pair of Hoka’s. I run the trails in Speedgoats and on the street with the Cliftons. I purchased the SG mid GTX after much research. I am very happy with the fit, comfort, feel, and they have great traction. The high top gave me nice ankle support, I just hiked in the Tahoe area ( about 6 miles) and upon completion my feet felt good! I wear wool hiking socks and the fit is excellent.

Not only do the look great, and very stylish, the hikers are also very comfortable, they have a nice bounce which makes me feel light and nimble, they also make me a tad bit taller which is also an added bonus. Love them!!!

The speedboat feels like a basketball shoe mixed with hiking grip giving me a nostalgic feel while picking up this new hobby of hiking. I've been able to put over 50 miles on the shoe already and am excited to take it on more adventures. Breaking the shoe in was relatively easy and never got blistered by it.

I had the pleasure to use them in my last hiking at talles mountaing in Costa Rica above 12000 feet, it was raining and windy, the terrain full of rocks and mud, the shoes, keep my feet protected and dry, and despite the many hours, it felt great. Fully recomended!

I work in a hot warehouse 12 hours a night standing on concrete the whole time. I've been buying expensive boots for years. My feet hurt ever night after I get home. I've been wearing my Hoka speedgoats for 4 weeks now and from the first day my feet have not hurt. I really do luv these boots. With the goretex outer they are a little warm inside the boot. But it's not bad! Definitely get these boots. I'm gonna buy a pair of stintons next.

I've bought the Speed goat Evo's twice and bought these for hiking. I love them. They beat any hiking shoe I've had in the past. Hoka continues to make the beat shoes

Lightweight, lots of traction, cushy, and stable. The high top speedgoat has got to be my favorite hiking boot.

I purchased these shoes for some like hiking in the pine mountain area of Georgia. I have plantar fasciitis and wear the bondi everyday.
I was worried about foot pain but j I felt no pain the entire trip.
I am really glad I found this brand and will continue to purchase Hoka's.

Ok I very rarely bother to review anything but these shoes are insanely great! I bought them for a trip to the Blue Ridge mountains. Out of the box I hiked a 9 mile fairly strenuous trail on day 1with zero blisters. Immediately I was impressed with how light but stable these shoes are - and the cushion is perfect for lots of rocks and roots. Not too much, not too little. Hiked more in the coming days up to the AT and it was more of the same awesomeness. Get these shoes and your understand. The hype is real.

Been seeing Hoka all over my gym for the last year, and now wish I'd bought a few pair these sooner. When I was about to replace the same model of Merril light hikers I've been wearing for 20+ years (2 hours before my flight to Montana departed), the salesman recommended I try these Speedboat 4 mid-tops for light hiking and trails. I was skeptical, but tried them on and immediately had to have them! I'm SO GLAD I BOUGHT THESE SHOES -- definitely a game-changer! They are waterproof and so comfortable (I have flat feet) that I can wear them all day for miles and not feel sore. I AM 100% sold on Hoka shoes and
just boughtt a pair of Bondi 7 trainers for the gym today! TREAT YOURSELF!

Ankle support for the rough hiking trails. Light like a running shoe. Comfortable for a person with plantar facitus. Just remember to use Hoka' foot measuring tool for the correct fit/size.

Initially got size 10 and was impressed with smooth and prompt return system. Got my 9.5 and they fit marvelously now. So glad I made the effort and spent the time to get the right size. So excited to take them out on jogging trails everywhere in CO
