The shoe is narrower than other Hoka products I have worn for years. Therefore, it cramps my toes and I get pain and corns.

I have both versions of these shoes. Unfortunately, the front of the right shoe of the vortex version is coming angled after a few months of light use other than that I love them, and are the most comfortable shoes I own. I tried to add images but the site doesn't seem to like them.

I could feel these shoes would be really comfortable. However, I have a high instep and a slightly wide foot. They just didn't work as they pinch just above the toes. I didn't try to size up, but I would be curious if that did the trick. I had to return them.

I have true wide width feet. I purchased these online in a size bigger just to make sure I had room in the toe box for my wide feet. When I tried these on, it felt like walking on a cloud. These are truly comfortable shoes...except....these shoes are very narrow in the toe box. Both sides of my feet rubbed and stretched the shoes in the toe box area to a very uncomfortable point. If Hoka can put these out in a true wide width, I would snatch them up immediately. My other suggestion for improvement is the tongue. The tongue is not padded and tends to dig in to the skin if you aren't wearing a crew cut sock.

I fell in love with these shoes. They gave me great cushioning and support. Plus, I got lots of compliments on the color. However when I tried them out on trails they started pinching me in my wider foot. I started to get blisters and, using blister pads, kept wearing them. Finally, sadly, I had to return them. I got excellent customer service and ordered a wide in the same style, but that shoe wasn't wide where I needed it (in the toe box).

I had wanted to try this style of shoe for quite a while . I Switch from the moffett to the speed goat . My foot is against the top of the upper at the toe and I feel like I'm going to fall off the platform . But I wor them out side so I won't return them.

Bought these for trail running and disc golf. Great for running, but not good for disc golf. I expected a trail running shoe with Goretex to hold up better, but 2 weeks in, maybe 8 rounds of disc golf and 15 miles running, the sole is separating at the front.

This pair is sturdy but not as comfortable as my previous hokas. I had a toe issue that my previous hokas helped but this pair has allowed to come back. Hokas is great brand but this shoe is as comfortable as I needed.

I like the cushion but it's a little tight across the middle area of my foot. I own 7 pairs of various Hoka's so I'm a little surprised there not wide versions of this show available when I purchased them.

The Hoka Speedgoat does NOT fit like the Bondi in the toe box. It is very small/tight. My toes went numb after trying them on. Had to return. I like the style & these are much better looking than the Bondi, but they hurt and fit differently than other Hokas I’ve tried. If they made the Bondi with a Vibrax sole, I’d definitely try that out!

I wore these shoes on dry grounds and they were amazing! Since on the description it states that they will keep your feet dry even on snow roads, I took them up on a snow hike and that was a COMPLETE LIE! My feet were SOAKED! My friend with the same shoes ended up with frostbite! I am completely disappointed with that!

I COULD NOT USE IT AS INTENDED. WHEN IN MOTION, IT FEELS FINE, BUT WHEN RESTING, THEY ARE TIGHT!. AND THAT MAKES THESE SHOES TO FEEL UNCONFORTABLE. I ALSO NOTICED THAT THESE SHOES DO NOT GIVE. AND EVEN WHEN I OPENED THE LACES ALL THEY GIVES, DID NOT WORK LIKE THAT ALL. THIS WAS MY FIRST EXPERIENCE I AND I HAD GREAT EXPETATION, BUT IT FAILED. HAD TO RETURN THEM.

This is my second pair of Hoka’s. I loved my first pair. They fit perfectly. Not sure why but this model is significantly tighter and uncomfortable. I wish that I could return them but already wore them outside.

This was my first time buying the Hoka name brand. After hearing about the brand from a fellow employee I decided to give them a try. My initial impression is they are of good quality, but they were too small and narrow in my regular size. The exchange was easy and I got a pair a half size larger and in double EE width. The true test of these shoes will be how long they last, because my last pair only lasted about five months.

I've owned several other hoka running shoes and recovery slides but these were the first trail shoes I've ordered. I wish I could review the performance but I can't. Had to send them back due to size issues before I could even really test them out. I wear a size 10 in pretty much every shoe including every Hoka I've owned. In the QA for this shoe someone asks if it's a tighter fit and the response is that it fits the same as the non gortex version. In my experience, it was a lot more snug than both the regular speedgoat 4, speedgoat 3, and the EVO speedgoat (which is what I ended up exchanging them for). They really pressed down on the top of my foot near where the laces and the tongue meet the toebox. They were not quite as plush as the speedgoat 3 midsole and the uppers were the most stiff out of any hokas I've worn. They even made a sound like crinkling cardboard when you bent your foot in them. They are also fairly heavy. I guess the waterproof feature is nice and the gortex is great for temp control but if you don't need the water resistance, I'd recommend any other speedgoat for fit and comfort reasons. I'm now going to review the EVO speedgoats which I believe are amazing compared to these. If you do insist on getting these, I'd recommend sizing up one half to one whole size up.

Purchased on line. Uncomfortable. I feel like I can feel the bumps on the treads of the shoe bottom.
