I work 10 hour shifts, on my feet all day. The speedboat 4, simply put make my feet happy, very comfortable, look great. Gives me a little extra pep in my step. Have a pair of clifton 7 also excellent. Great full to have found and tried Hoka one one simply the Best.

I took my first pair for a hike and loved how they felt so much that I purchased a second pair. Perfect for trail running and hiking as well.

Very comfortable. Using for walking. Was told a few years back that I needed stability shoes...wrong...continued pain in my feet, soleus and achilles. Tried my son's Goats and fell in love. Not sure if I'll be able run again at this point in my life due to the chronic issues but able to walk comfortably for now...which is huge for me.

Love these shoes. My right ankle is fused and my knees are bone on bone. These shoes are great and don't bother me or make my injuries hurt as bad. I would recommend HOKA's to all the people I know, and have.

These shoes really make me feel like running isn't a chore anymore. They don't hurt my joints or give me shin splints, I don't need stability but they handle the terrain and trails great. The cushion is outstanding, and the way they hug your feet without suffocating is unlike any other shoes I have ever had. The balance of this design feels like it is propelling you forward. The only thing is as a woman I ordered the male version of this shoe. I got the beautiful gold and navy toned version because none of the female colors inspired me. The colors are so vibrant and make me smile every time I put them on. I think that's something we all need to feel before we go on a run

Love the cushion and bounce ....and the traction sticks you to hills. I have only taken them out a few times so far and I do not that the top of the foot is stiffer that what I'm used to. I hoping that softens up quite a bit. But otherwise an amazing shoe!

Wore these on a seven mile hike at Big Sur, they performed admirably. Super comfortable, and the vibram lug soles performed flawlessly. Would prefer a bit thicker/more cushioned tongue. Had to replace the laces as the originals kept coming loose on my original 3 miler when the shoes first arrived. I have Morton’s neuroma in one foot and this is a very comfortable shoe.

These are my second pair of Hoka running shoes and they exceeded my expectations in all areas. One thing to be aware of if you're a potential buyer, both these and the GTX version have what I'd call a technical upper (they're form fitting and have little wasted material). I love the fit they just seem to take a few seconds longer to get them on, laced, and tightened properly. I'll buy them again when these wear out.

I suffer from chronic Planar Faciatis & have a closet full of 'other' running shoes that did nothing but hurt my feet. Tried my 1st pair of ATRs and fell in love. Next moved to the Speedgoat and found the same awesome fit and incredible support. I can not go longer w/o feeling pain. I've more than doubled my daily exercising and feel able to go further still.

I wear these shoes at work. I run around all day while wearing a lead vest and kilt. I work in healthcare in radiology hence the lead. They have lots of cushion to help with the added weight and great grip. That's handy since the floors in the labs are often wet. They're water resistant too which is another added plus. My feet feel great after a long day. I'm thinking I'll get a pair for outdoor use as well. This is my third pair of Hokas. I recommend them to all my coworkers.

I've bought several hoka shoes and so far the bondi7 has been my favorite! They feel good, fit great, and feels like your walking on clouds. However I returned the speed goat . I love the look of the shoes and the colors, but the plastic material makes the shoe uncomfortable and makes a weird sound when you walk, and has a weird looking indentation on the plastic. I think if they made the shoe as the same material as the bondi7 it would be an awesome shoe!

I use this for trail running/hiking, mainly in Hawaii in the rain forest. The trails tend to be muddy and slippery - a lot of roots, mud, rocks, and water (it rains at least half the time.) The grip from the sole is outstanding, most trail shoes are not good enough. The fit is noticeably tighter than my road running shoes, it is tighter than my Bondi 6 wide size 11.5, and I have the same size Speedgoat 4. The toe box is tighter, I wish it were wider. I might go a half size larger next time, but this does work. Durability seems not as great as I would like, the front part of the sole that wraps onto the top of the toes peeled off on both shoes after 3 months of use. I used Loctitie shoe glue to glue them both back on, it's held for the past week of use. I shouldn't have to do that, although I know I am hard on the shoes. I run/hike 4-7 days a week, usually 3 miles a day, and once a week do 5 to 8 miles. The sole remains in excellent shape, as is the upper. I really like how the upper grips my foot, but I find I often retie them a few minutes after putting them on to make them tighter. Finding a wide shoe, with low but not zero heel drop, with excellent grip is difficult. There's only one other shoe at this time that does all that. Although the Speedgoat 4 is narrower than the Bondi 6, I know it needs to be or my foot would roll more. But I'd still like it to be a little wider. The cushioning is thick enough that I don't mind not having a rock plate. I wear a custom carbon fiber orthotic and that works fine in this shoe. I'm happy with this shoe, it's the best trail shoe I've ever had (and I've been hiking for 35 years), and I would buy it again.
