Shoes were delivered ahead of schedule and are very light but, well-cushioned.

Sharp and casual enough for any sporty look, but still a seriously good runner. These are my 5th pair and I'll keep buying them! In previous years I went down a half size, but this year they seem truer to size than before and I'm on the same size (9.5) that I wear in Asics and Brooks.

Great fit. The only problem I have with them is they are snug around the ankle on which I'm not use to. They will loosen up after couple of wears

I had the Cavu 2s and loved them and decided to get a pair of the 3s and have really enjoyed them. The new upper on the 3s is very comfortable and breathable but isnt great for speed work as I noticed some sliding around. I would definitely reccomend for casual runs and long runs.

The shoe feels like quality compared to many other brands. They are quite comfortable.

I almost love running in these shoes. They have great cushion and response. The only problem is they are too narrow. I have narrow feet and my feet still feel squished in these shoes.

They are great for road running. I wish they had a lighter weight, but it's still great.

I love my shoes, but I have a very high instep and it's tough getting them on. But once on, they're very comfortable, if not a little snug. I'll give it a bit longer to see if they stretch out a bit.

This is my 2nd pair of Cavu's, great all around shoe, I typically use them for cross fit and for walking/running.
The Cavu 3 tounge is connected to the shoe, so they are hard to get on, that's why only 4 stars.

Wanted this shoe to work as my first pair of Hokas. Had to return them because the tongue is attached. I had a hard time trying them on and felt the would damage due to me having to 'work' my foot into them.

Really like the support on the heel, and like the orange. wasn't my first or second choice for colors, as both of them were out of stock. Also feels a little tight, but hopefully it'll stretch out. I may get half a size larger next time.
But, nice shoe. Only thing is that the achilles part of the shoe is a little flimsy and bends over a little while putting on the shoe. So, it's not the most stable.
But, still it's good quality. May purchase again for a more casual shoe.

Best fitting shoe I have ever had, but wish they had it in black in size 15.

Shoe is comfortable and stable and lots of heel support, I didn't realize it had the mesh and stretch entry, I'm not in favor of those as much, makes putting shoe on a bit cumbersome, but once it's on , oh it's on!!

A very good and light shoe which more than fulfills my expectations. I bought on clearance and was with every cent spent. Recommend to anyone wanting a comfortable and light, cushioned shoe.

Very comfortable! Dislike the sewn in tongue on the shoe, difficult to put on. Will purchase a different style of Hoka next time.

I had the original Cavus and really liked them so I ended up getting the latest version. The ventilation at the top of the toe box has changed and I'm not a big fan of that, but otherwise it's a nice road shoe.

had no idea that these were slip ons. I have other shoes I can wear for working out ; these will be my knock around kicks. Really comfy.

Super light, durable and very nice arch support. Really like them - maybe the fit is slightly smaller than size, but not uncomfortable or to the point that i want to return them. First pair of Hoka's and won't be my last.

I like the idea of no tongue that can slide from side to side but getting the shoe requires much more time and effort than any other shoe I have ever owned.

Quick background on myself:
height: 6'1"
weight: 189lbs
weekly mileage: 15-20 miles

previous shoes: Pearl Izumi Em Road N0, HokaOneOne Mach
current shoes: HokaOneOne Cavu 3, HokaOneOne Hupana EM, HokaOneOne Clifton Edge
Okay, now that all that is out of the way. The Cavu 3 is, overall a great shoe. At a size 12 the shoe came in at 8.7 oz, the lightest in my fleet. The shoe has great cushion for a "responsive" sneaker; at the same time I barely notice they're even on my feet.
I have narrow ankles, so the "sock-like-feel" is great for me....I really only tie my shoes because I have to, not to make them snug. If you have a thicker ankle or foot, the fit might be annoying to you. Also, I think the toe box is a tad to narrow for my feet. But still a good fit overall.
