Light, sturdy, COMFORTABLE! Just hiked in them today for the first time and was amazed at how the sole grabbed the ground.

These boots were so comfortable, straight out of the box. I couldn't believe how cushy and supportive the soles are! I ordered the wide because I like the toe box to be roomy; they are pretty spacious and make me wonder if a wide was necessary. But I will keep them because they fit perfect with hiking socks.

I agree with everyone else that the hook eyes at the top just don't hold the laces well. They aren't deep enough or something. They can't be bent or manipulated to fix the problem. HOKA you've got to up grade to better hooks for next edition of these boots bc man these boots are major comfy. I'm a Clifton fanatic (I have had probably 10 pair of Cliftons) and took a gamble on these and took them on a 12 mile hike right out of the box. No break in required just pure bliss. If only my weak calves could say the same - ha! I have issues with PF and HOKA makes it so much more bearable and reduces flare ups. I'm a longtime Vasque hiking book wearer and I finally just accepted the fact that mine were too heavy and I couldn't wait to take them off even after a short hike. They still hard wear in them but hiking comfortably is important to me. So glad I splurged on these boots. The height of these boots is the great height for me even as a shorter 5'3" girl.

I've worn HOKA ONE ONE shoes for several years through hikes, trail runs, road running and recovery. I've had to recover from stage III melanoma surgery over a large part of one calf, reconstructive surgery with prosthetic cartilage in the ball of the same foot, and plantar fasciitis with heel bone spurs on the other foot. This has been discouraging as I was an avid runner and used to placing in the top three of local 5Ks. My husband (in order to cheer me up) bought me these boots for Christmas along with some good hiking poles. We live next to a state park and these boots are allowing me to slowly work into recovery and rebuilding my strength. They are comfortable with my prescription inserts under the insole and the provide ankle support. I also like the lacing system because I can set it and it stays set. Thank you for creating a hiking boot that is allowing me to experience the trail again as I work on recovery.

I have very wide feet and tend to roll my ankles, especially when tired. I love the ankle support these offer without actually biting into the flesh around my ankle. They are well-cushioned and comfortable all over. I used the same size I wear in Keens and the fit was perfect. For me, the reason I tried these shoes is the fact I am prone to pinch blisters. I needed something with more room in the toe-box so I could wrap my toes before doing a long hike. Even after a longer hike that includes some grueling ups and downs, I rarely come home with blisters so painful I cannot walk for the rest of the night. The added plus was how soft the soles were compared to my previous brands of hiking shoes. I would seriously give extra stars if I could for how much I love these!

I am a senior and find the shoes I purchased better than those advertised for seniors. I had to women's shoes since they were very little choice in mens.

I'm a delivery driver and walk about 10 miles a day. These shoes are so supportive and comfortable my feet and legs are thanking me. I love the fact they come in wide width.. I have such a hard time finding wide width shoes that don't look dorky. Thank you HOKA. I'll be a customer for a long time.

I have a bunion and so needed a boot with a wide option, so tried this. So happy! The boot has the perfect combination of support yet cushion, great traction in this snowy and icy Northeast winter. They are even warm enough. I'm actually amazed at how much I love them!!! In the gardening season I'll be using them at my job in a public garden where they will get a lot of use. I'm actually considering buying a second pair since shoe models seem to come and go so quickly.

These hikers are by far the most comfortable I have ever owned. I have tried almost all of the major brands, the Challengers are the best. I have RA, my feet sometimes swell as I walk 3-5 miles a day with my job and at home. The Challengers are awesome ALL DAY LONG!

These are worth the money! I have trouble with my arches hurting but not with these. They are warmer than I expected but not hot. I got a wide just to be sure they wouldn't be too tight with thick socks and they're not. They are very comfortable!

I hike with these shoes at least 5 days a week. I live up in the Pacific Northwest where in the winter it rains a lot. My feet have kept dry and I love how these shoes are so comfortable right out of the box.

My wife said they are extremely comfortable and fit perfectly. Her only complaint is the amount of color options.

I loved this women's boot for 2 days but then my bunion flared. I consulted with customer service and they helped me convert the size to men's and recommended a wide since I have a wide thick foot for a woman AND bunions. Nothing wrong with the boot, just wrong fit for my foot No questions asked on the return. I am in day 4 + of the men's version and my feet are walking my two labs 3-4 miles daily and no pain!

These are comfy boots! I understand the comments about the lacing, but I don't find the lacing system to be problematic.

Yes, the lace hooks are a little weird, but these boots are great for troubled feet and knees.

I needed a new pair of mountain boots after the bottom of my old pair started to seperate from the shoe. I couldn't find anything that was comfortable, i broke my ankle a few years back and have a metal plate with 7 screws in it. All the ones I tried on were extremely painful, would put too much pressure on my ankle & rub the scar. I decided to take a chance & get a pair of hoka's. I absolutely love them!
