I've had arthrodeses on both big toes to mitigate hallux rigidus, so I need a sturdy rocker sole to prevent too much pressure on my big toes during my ca. 5-mile walks. These are perfect & not bad-looking, either (I picked them partly based on appearance, as I wanted something that looked like a neutral, outdoorsy hiking shoe & not too 'orthopedic'). Run slightly large & wide (especially around the heel area, but beats friction/blisters there!) - they still fall in the category of fitting 'as expected', though. Happy to have discovered this game-changing shoe!

I'm 68yo and have foot issues (RA) that really limits the shoes I can wear. I needed a supportive, waterproof shoe for walking on paved and unpaved trails, and this shoe is working very well for me. The toebox is roomy and the width is good for my somewhat narrow feet. I trade off between these and my gore-tex Speedgoat 4's. I would purchase either pair again.

These shoes!! City carrier for the Post Office here, bought these to see how they would do in the rain and snow......AWESOME!! Feet stayed dry ALL day!! I walk anywhere from 11-14 miles a day. Will definitely buy again.

I work at a Children's Hospital and am on my feet constantly. These shoes make a huge difference in how my feet feel after I get home! Definitely recommend!

I wanted a sneaker to keep my feet warm and dry in the winter as I walk about 5 miles a day! These do the job. At first I felt like they were hard but once I started to walk in them they were comfortable and no more frozen toes with only using one pair of socks. Love them.

I run and walk on trails with these shoes. They are very comfortable and have adequate stability for the uneven terrain.

This is a very nice shoe. However, for my narrow feet it's too wide in the heel and the shoe feels heavy. I am exchanging for the Clifton 7

Since COVID, I walk almost every day for an hour with a friend. We do not have sidewalks and often have to get off the road surface into grass. On top of that, one road is gravel. These shoes work well for the winter, and keep my feet warmer than my Cliftons( I have 4 pairs) great support too. My only issue is that the heel of this shoe is looser than the Cliftons!

Comfortable fit, and also interesting color. I have narrow feet, I normally wear size 8.5 in running shoes but size 8 fits me well for this shoe.

Size 9 (my usual)was too small for my bunion. Had a larger size (9.5) from local store in same shoe. Support in this shoe is so good I wear in house too. Have had both knees replaced and one hip. Will buy again maybe in lighter color for spring/summer and from you direct. Thanks!

Not the prettiest shoes. But after wearing for a few hours around the house, nothing to complain about. I have a very (2E) wide foot and these were perfect. These are keepers!

Same fit I've come to depend on, same comfort, and they keep my feet dry when the sidewalks and park paths are wet or sloppy.

Her compliments about the shoes comfort are starting to get old. She refuses to take them off . I am starting to worry that she will want to wear them to bed because they are so comfortable. Can one be jealous of shoes? Yes.

I bought trail shoes for the support. Not really my style but I need this due to foot/ankle problems I'm having. Wearing a brace on my left side. These are hard on the outside soft on the inside. My heels sort of sink down in them but comfortable. I just had to get used to them. I like them a lot.

I am so pleased with my purchase! This is my first pair of Hoka's and I am sure it won't be the last. These shoes are incredibly comfortable and provide fantastic support. I am also pleased with the width since I have a wide foot and yet, I purchased the medium width. Well done, Hoka!
