I wear my Challenger Low Gore-Tex shoes everyday as I walk 3-5 miles. The soles are very comfortable and supportive as I have arthritis in my big toe. The gray/green color is great, nice w/jeans, and the styling isn't "athletic" so they are a good cross over shoe to wear with casual clothes. I had looked for a shoe that I could wear everyday without having a running shoe look. Honestly, my husband found them for me as I had given up my search for such a shoe. Thanks Honey!

Looks like a good shoe for hiking. I got the 6 wide which gives my square feet enough room in the toebox. Have not yet used them on a real trail, but look like they will do well.

I bought for my daughter who is just graduated from high school. She is leading a outdoor camp for teenagers for 10 weeks. She wears the shoes from the very first say. She loves it. It's a very good hiking shoes. Strongly recommended.

I don't need to ride in a tank, I am a tank with these on. They are about the same color as a tank. I can run over things and not notice. The sole has its own zip code. I can't argue with the comfort. They run all over the competition.

my podiatrist recommended I get hokas 4 years ago when I had foot issues, which I never did until now. why didn’t I listen sooner?
I felt like I was walking on clouds during and after my 10 mile hike, there was no break in period. I normally wear 6 1/2 in every other shoe and 7 in boots or hiking boots, but after reading reviews that this ran a tad big I decided to get the 6 1/2 which worked out perfectly fine. My heels are narrow but my front a little wide (most likely from wearing slippers all my life from being born and raised in HI). I’m now hooked and will probably never buy another brand.

These were recommended to me by a physical therapist. I just had a knee replacement and basically needed to learn how to walk again (properly) after years of pain and compensation in my gate. They are so comfortable and supportive for my feet, knees and back

These are perfect. I’ve had surgery on both feet so it’s really hard to find shoes. Even Hoka was out of them. So glad you had them.

These shoes eliminated foot discomfort. I have ordered a pair for casual and the same pair for outside only.

I am 4'11" with a very small , wide foot. I ordered a size 5 Wide. This shoe fits my foot perfectly. I plan to use them for walks and hiking. I got the brown color. It is more of a dark olive grey brown tone. The shoe is made of Gore Tex which I like, but hope my feet don't get too hot in warm temperatures. The shoe is very comfortable right from the start. Very happy with my purchase.
Thank you Hoka for making size 5's with a Wide option.

I am wearing these every day. I added my orthotics and am finally feeling some hope that my feet will let me continue my (almost) daily hikes the the hills near my home. Thank you!!!

HOKA makes wonderfully comfortable, supportive shoes. My previous pair was a men's size because the style I wanted was unavailable in women's. I loved them and wore them out. The new pair is an even better fit. They are not glamorous but the colors are great and, most of all, they make my feet happy.

I got a pair of the olive green ones in size 8.5 M. The fit is perfect and will accommodate orthotics. The look of the shoe is nice and understated. The waterproof shoes will be used for outdoor exercise but, they would also be acceptable in an office setting. These shoes are very light in weight and I really look forward to wearing them.

My first pair of HOKAs were men's shoes, because the style I wanted was unavailable in women's. I loved them. The current pair is women's and the toe box is a bit narrower but still completely adequate. For comfort and support in walking, these shoes are magnificent.

My wide feet are hard to fit. The Speedgoats didn't make the cut but the Challenger with a wide toe box are so comfortable! Please make more Hokas available in wide.

I had a total ankle replacement several yrs. back and have been having trouble/pain w/ my toes. I was able to walk five miles (usually 3) because of the support & comfort of these sneakers.

I've been looking for a Gore-Tex trail shoe for cooler weather walking. Women's Challenger ATR Gore-Tex size 11 was a bit too short. 12 way too big. Stumbled on this model in a local shoe store in women's11. It fits great. Love the Brown, which is really olive. It feels a bit firmer than the Challenger ATR Gore-Tex version.

This is my second pair of women Challengers (different colors). The shoes are wonderful for all weather use. They run true to size. They allow for stable hiking with enough cushion to keep my plantar fasciitis at bay.
I prefer the women's size 11 because they are a little narrower but I also wear men's challenger size 10 in a different color.
