I needed shoes to walk safely up and down hills on all kinds of surfaces: gravel roads, grassy pastures, wooded areas, and just dirt. I wanted to keep my high arched, achy, wide feet dry and comfortable through it all. They have met my challenges! I love them! Hoka, please make more styles in wide. I won't wear anything but HOKAs from now on!

I have terrible feet and it is almost impossible to find shoes that fit and don't hurt or bother my back...that is until now. they do kinda bother my bunion but as they wear in should get better, but it is so nice to walk with out back pain !!!

In desperation I wore these right out of the box on a week long fishing and hiking trip late October. They got rained on and splashed on but I stayed dry. My feet have always hurt- I have tried so many expensive shoes- but these felt GREAT! Only Hoka for now on!!!

I love these shoes. I have a hard time with fit and these were perfect. I am also thankful that these came in a woman's W.
The soles have great traction and I know will come in handy on ice this winter.

Extremely comfortable right out of the box! Hoka's have made it possible for me to walk comfortably again.
Hoping they'll come out with new colors in wide width. Boots are apparently on back order toowaiting for those to come in so o can have a second pair.

I bought these shoes for a trip to Iceland where I did a lot of hiking on various terrains as we toured the major sites. The best thing about the Hoka shoes for me is that there is a wide shoe. I always get the wide just wish there were more of a color selection there. I wore several pairs of the Challenger as I through hiked the PCT in 2018. The shoe holds up well, gives good traction and no blisters. I have recommended the Hoka brand to many of my family and friends.

I'm a petite gal with wide feet and a high arch who loves exercising and hiking. Blisters and numb toes are what I get with the majority of shoes I've purchased and can't return. With Hoka there was no break in period, no blisters, and no numb toes! The box I kept because I could have returned them was tossed in the garbage. I LOVE my Hokas!!!

I was going on Safari and wanted a comfortable show I could wear all day that supports my feet and has decent traction. These worked perfectly!I ordered a wide size as my feet are wider than average and they were super comfy with no break in time required.

Great hiking shoes. I was on the fence about purchasing due to price and we were only going on our second hiking trip. But it was worth it. I don't think I would have been able to walk, climb and explore as much if I would have just stuck with the other (cheaper and poorer fitting) shoes I had bought before. I am so so happy I got them! They look new still despite being put through their paces and were relatively water proof.

These are great shoes. I would love to have kept them, but they didn't work with my foot issues (that have nothing to do with the quality of the shoe). So I had to return. I recommend, even tho they didn't work for me.

this is my second pair of these shoes. I wear a brace on my lower leg which has to be built into the shoe and this shoe works perfectly with the brace! these shoes offer great support and traction. my all time favorite!

I bought these trail running shoes as a substitute for hiking boots. I hate the bulk and weight of hiking boots but still wanted something that’s waterproof and these fit the bill. They’re my second pair of Hokas and they’ve been great. They are lightweight and comfortable and needed no break-in time. I’ve been hiking state parks with varied terrain from bouldering to boardwalks and they did it all. Due to the waterproofing they do get warm on hot days. Overall would highly recommend.

I bought these shoes on the advice of my podiatrist. I bought this specific shoe bc other reviews mentioned that it was waterproof; since I walk in wet grass all the time this was an important. They are waterproof! Yea! I wasn't sure if I should buy 6.5 or 7 bc this depends on the shoe, I opted for the 7 and it's a tiny bit too big, but I kept them anyway. Next time I will buy a 6.5.
