This is not a comfortable shoe, and I would return them if I hadn't worn them several times to try and break them. Was advertised as a wide shoe but wasn't. Would not recommend.

Didn't meet my expectations.

Due to gusseted tongue, the shoe doesn't fit for people with a high instep. Was too tight, and couldn't really fit my foot into the shoe (9 wide). Length was fine, but would not accommodate high in step.

This is the third time I am writing this. Bought these shoes. They arrived a few days later. Tried them on, Right shoe felt great. Left shoe felt like the arch was to far back. Wore them for an hour and took them off. Wore them to work the next day. Thought that might flatten the arch a little. I spilled cherry syrup on them. I am on my feet for 7 hours. By the time I was able to get home my foot was hurting.

These shoes are the usual size that I wear, and I have another pair of Hokas that are the same size and they are actually a little big. I had to use a shoehorn to get these on, and they are tight. I threw away the box and the packaging when I got them, because of this, so I cannot return them. I am very disappointed in this, and don't know that I will order any more from Hoka One One.

I have loved all my Hoka shoes, until now. I really love the way these shoes fit and the support they give. The problem is the tongue. It's sharp and bites into the front of your leg/foot crease. After just a few miles the pain is excruciating. After doing some research on the internet I found out this is a common issue and have tried multiple tips to solve the problem. I've trimmed the tongue back, relaced my shoes, put tape on my leg crease, worn appropriate socks and it has "helped". But the problem is still there. For the price of these shoes I should have zero issues. I wish I could return them.

Love the comfort but they pinch my little toes

To narrow hurts my foot. First time I've ever been disappointed.

I am a loyal Speedgoat customer, I have purchased countless pairs of the 2&3. Run up to 100 mile race. No more injuries. Until the 4 arrived! Simply horrible! Sadly had to return them after Cruel Jewel 50. The tongue is paper thin, cut into my skin. Extremely frustrated and dissapointed. I have put thousands of miles on previous Speedgoat 3 & 4. Barely made it to 100 on the 4. I recommended this shoe to many, not anymore. Change the tongue. It's ridiculous.

These are about the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn. I normally wear Sketchers with Memory foam which are amazingly comfortable.... but I thought I would try something different. The tongue is super thin and rubs on the foot, not padded. Very stiff not flexible at all. Not impressed one bit. I will be sticking with Sketchers.

The shoe has been re-designed and it is not as comfortable as the speedgoat 3. The tongue is no longer padded do it rubs on the ankle and there is a plastic strip from the end of the laces to the toes which rubs on the top of the foot. The shoe is also very very stiff. I was very disappointed in the fit and the comfort. I even re-order a second pair to see if that would fit any better and it did not. I loved the speedgoat 3 but not the 4.

These shoes used to be the best of the best. I have went through ~6 pairs of Speedgoats and love them more than any trail running shoe I have ever encountered. In the peak of summer I'm maxing out at 80 mile weeks and have used these shoes with success in many long trail races and ultras. The new design ruined the shoe. Mainly, just one small aspect of that design: The thin tongue. It prevents the laces from distributing pressure properly, the shoe always feels loose, and worst of all, the tongue aggressively cuts into and blisters the front of my ankle from rubbing, even if I wear high socks. I will continue to run in my old Speedgoat 3s until they completely fall apart, rather than run in these Speedgoat 4s at all. I have heard the same from many other runners. HokaI'm begging youplease change the tongue back!

The shoe in general runs wide in my opinion. After wearing them my feet and legs hurt. I have never experienced that before. I was super excited for my Hokas, sadly they are not for me.

I am a Speedgoat fan. It has been my go-to shoe for years for trails. The tongue in the shoe is too long and plastic feeling. It was rubbing my ankles/lower shins and leaving blisters. Not a good upgrade. The shoelaces are too short and don't stayed tied. The toe box also felt different. If it's not broke, don't fix it! But just my opinion. Customer service was great for exchanging. We'll see how the new sneaks feel when they arrive.

The shoe is uncomfortable, especially the tongue. I tried several long walks and wore them around the house a bit, but they hurt my feet.

Got a pair in Imperial Blue in April = LOVE them!!! A full 5 star for these Speedgoats. Fit like a glove and so comfortable: wore them out. Just received a new pair in Red= HATE them. The arch is all wrong..not high enough or not there at all...not 100% sure, but definitely not wearable for a long hike or even for an hour around the house. Sending them back. Thought the Speedgoat 4 in any color would be the same...very disappointed!!!
