Keepers. I run 3-6 miles 3 times per week, on uneven, rocky, rooty PA trails. I ran through 3 models of the Salomon Speedcross, but was experiencing worsening knee/foot problems (that I partially attribute to the gradually increasing heel height/drop of the shoes). I started road running on Altra Torin 4’s and was happy with them, so sought out a different pair of trail runners. I purchased Hoka Speedgoat, Hoka Torrent, Altra Lone Peak, Saucony Peregrine 10, Salomon Sense Ride 3, La Sportiva Bushido 2, Topo Athletic Mountain Racer, and Topo Athletic Ultraventure. After jogging around my house, I kept the Topo Mtn Racer and the Hoka Speedgoat. The Topo’s were super comfy right out of the box, but my foot seemed to slip around more than I’d like during uneven descents. These Speedgoats are so springy and responsive, almost as if I am expending less energy. If you like to “feel the trail” under your feet, you probably won’t like Hoka’s, but in that regard I’m getting used to it and might be a Hoka convert. I wear a 7.5-8 in most shoes, happy with the 7.5 in these.

Great shoe! Great comfort! I work in a carpet mill in Dalton, Ga. 10-12 hours daily on concrete floors. My coworkers and I are always on the lookout for a shoe to combat the pain in our legs, back and feet. We've finally found that shoe! Awesome cushion! All around great shoe!

I have just completed six days backpacking on tough trail and off trail. Mostly granite. Started out with 27 lbs.
I switched out the stock Hoka insoles for Superfeet Comfort Trailblazer insoles and my feet were very happy.
These are the most comfortable backpacking shoes I've ever used.
I was concerned about the durability but they held up well and should survive another trip, hopefully two.
The Vibram soles are fantastic.
I wish I'd had these on the PCT!!!

I have had these shoes before and the new shoes are just as fabulous as the previous pair. They save me from the knee and hip pain that I was having before purchasing them. Also, I literally do not want to take them off when I am wearing them around the house.

I purchased the Speedgoat 4 and I cannot say enough about this amazing shoe. I am amazed at the support and comfort this shoe provides. I feel like I am running on clouds. I hope to log many miles in these Hoka shoes!

I trail run 4-6 days a week, I was having issues with shin splints, but after about two week with my Hoka pain is almost completely gone, shoes are stable and also comfortable they feel stiff at first but super comfortable to run in; I will probably never buy any other brand

I normally wear size 7 but Zappos recommended I go with 7-1/2. Thank you for that. Size 7 would have been a little too small. Would have liked a little more arch support but I'm okay with these shoes. Really chose them for the higher heal. Made a good choice there. I'm very happy with these shoes.

I previously ran on the EVO Mafate, which were painfully too narrow in the toebox and pinched my toes. Speedgoats are a bit better, but still on the pointy side in the toebox. Love the Vibram sole, and they are like running on pillows! Highly recommended for long-distance variable mountain trail running.

I love hokas and I love the speedgoat. I like the 4 much better than the 3 for comfort. I size up a 1/2 a size for comfort

I have been wearing these trail shoes for all their generations! Love them! I run from blacktop to trail daily and they are perfect for both types of terrains! They have great support and lots of spring to them! Will never buy anything else! My only comment is the tongue on the speedgoat 4 is not comfortable compared to previous models:-)

I just want to say how sad it makes me that you barely have any woman's shoes in a size 12. I love your shoes but I'm so tired of looking like a grandpa on my runs. Seriously where are my 6ft tall runners?! We can't all be a size 6.. or 11 :(

I love these shoes! I have had plantar fascitis for over 3 years and stand/walk a lot for my job and always have foot pain. After a few days of adjusting to them, they feel amazing and my feet don't hurt at night after work!

These Speedgoat 4 shoes are my second pair in the Speedgoat family, and they are wonderful. I am on concrete all day, and my feet never feel it! Not only are the shoes beautiful....but they cushion my feet all day! I have absolutely no complaints about these shoes. Before I found the Speedgoats, I went thru dozens of shoes trying to find comfort while I worked, and finally found the Speedgoats. And big bonus...they stay tied all day!

The Speedgoat 4 shoes were too narrow for my unusually wide feet. I liked the shoes but they were uncomfortable because of my feet --- customer service was awesome both in the return procedure and my chat with a CSR who suggested another style that fits me perfect and I love!

These shoes are very comfortable! I'm on my feet all day and I've had surgery on my ankle and foot, and I can stand on my feet all day in these shoes, with no pain.

For years I've struggled with uncomfortable sneakers: my trainer suggested I try these since we were working out in trails etc. I have wide feet and always had to have a break in period with shoes and even then after a couple of hours they hurt. These fit perfectly and I can wear them all day! I love them.
